California #1 means it has the worst drivers. Florida #49 means it has the 49th worst drivers, so the 2nd best drivers in the country.
I just got rear ended an hour ago by one of those Top 2 drivers, solid rankings.

I'm fine with rating Cali worst.

Rating RI best is insane, as they're close to the woat.

Lotta variance within individual states though. Northern VA drivers are bad, but rural VA drivers take it to a whole new level of awful

Pretty sure I could compile better ranking throwing darts at a map. Florida has a severe case of the OLDS plus all the coke addict morons in Miami, GTFO #2 best drivers

I've lived in California and Miami and in my experience Miami drivers were 10x worse. California traffic was worse, but Miami drivers were just god awful.

When I lived in LA for a few years I actually thought CA drivers were pretty good. The traffic is obviously awful, but it seemed to me when things opened up people were a little bit aggro but overall efficient, like WOW we got some open road let's maximize this limited opportunity.

That chart must think aggression + horrendous traffic = woat

CA drivers notoriously cruise in the left lane.

Since that seems to be a list from an insurance angle, maybe places where drivers are known to be awful has everyone driving alertly.

It isn't Mass drivers' fault Boston is laid out like a drunk three year old's first pass at Sim City.

Idaho drivers are fine imo.

9th worst has to be lolbad. Our two large counties border each other and it's like half the state's population at ~650k people fwiw.

I've always found Connecticut drivers to be awful. Far worse than Mass drivers imo

I’ve had plenty of recent Borgata trips where I get there on a Friday and there’s not even a 5/10 running until late night

Every other casino is a ghost town

Perhaps sports betting will help

That's pretty shocking, used to be a 10/25 or higher and a big limit game every weekend. But they were built around fish who probably have options closer to home now.

Don't think I've ever seen a Massachusetts plate where the driver wasn't chilling in the left lane not passing anyone

Mass drivers goat at whipping left turns when the lights turn green. Like it's taught in drivers Ed or something

New Jersey 15 spots too high and it's not close. Although I suppose it is possible they've all killed themselves by now?

that ****’s depressing to even think about. like, I’m bout to be off for longer than most people get in a year and I’m just like whatever...every long, ****ty day, I can at least think that June is coming.

to have another job...like, how do y’all get through march knowing you gotta work all summer??

In my experience working mostly in biotech in the PNW we basically blow off huge chunks of work in the summer because the weather's great and everyone kind of accepts it.

"Where's Rob, is he still around?"
"He took off early, he had that kayaking thing in the Sound remember?"
"Oh yeah, that sounded fun, really fun. Is he here tomorrow?"
"I doubt it."
"Back Monday though I guess."
"I doubt it."
"Sounds like a good trip."
