wait, so the fatter one has to lose 110 pounds, and the lighter only has to gain 45 pounds? No way that's optimal strategy for the bet. For long-term health and life, yeah, but it would be so much easier for the 135 pound guy to gain a lot more weight.

This. The skinny dude would have to gain over half his weight to get to 200. I am 165 now and think getting to 200+ would be very difficult.

For 150k I think you guys could sit down every night with a bag of chips and a pan of brownies. It ain't that hard, trust me. Maybe smoke a little P.O.T. if the struggle is actually real

More difficult than a 290 dude losing 110 pounds?

I went from like 280 to 210 in a year or so, and that included a few binge drinking weekends and wasn't necessarily a crazy caloric deficit.

I have a vision of that MCD's eating bettor having his plan all set, scheduling his orders, paying all at once for simplicity, and then at the very end the cashier tells him, "your order qualifies for our catering discount of 15% off the entire order. Congrats!"

~1-1.5% is considered a pretty standard, reasonable cut, and the fatter you are the higher that number can go.

Tubby brother can go from 290-250 in a matter of 2-3 months.

Yeah I lost 75-80 lbs total starting around 245 in about 9 months, and that's without trying for about 3 of the months. Problem is superfats are usually idiots who get advice from idiots and think bagels with peanut butter is a weight loss breakfast, plus they're basically addicted to food so the willpower aspect can be quite difficult initially.

This is me. I like food and struggle with portion size.

Not at all. Ages 45-64 are the highest rate of suicide. It only seems like younger people are the highest because of all the media coverage on some random bullying story or something along those lines.

I think more is going to come out. Suicide seems like the last option here.
