What is the accepted timetable for brunch?

I thought 1PM would be past that, I'm a philistine tho.

On Saturday like 11 to 2:30 are acceptable start times.

On Sundays in Georgia then 12:30 to 2:30 are acceptable start times due to a stupid law that doesn't allow alcohol to be served before 12:30 pm.

There was a bill last year nicknamed the "Georgia Brunch Bill" that had bipartisan support, but stalled in the state senate. From everything I know the Democrats are on board and the GOP is split down the middle with some clowns making sure it doesn't get through. However, apparently the Chairwoman of the Health and Human Services committee is trying to force it through even though she doesn't drink and is calling it the "Mimosa Mandate" which will allow alcohol to be served starting at 10:30 am.

If you're eating brunch at 4pm, could you not only have eaten breakfast but some glutton may have already eaten lunch?

Mind blown.

The key is to go bottomless. You eat breakfast when you sit down, then drink, then eat "lunch" at 4 pm right before you leave

I genuinely don't see the appeal in that, unless it's maybe summer and the place is on the water. Doing it in some urban setting and especially indoors sounds like a total ****show.

Starting brunch at 4 is obviously ludicrous but finishing up around that time is not unheard of especially after a night of heavy drinking that doesn't finish until dawn. Arrive for brunch 1:30-2 for example. I prefer to eat before going to sleep but to each their own.

I usually brunch around 1. Putting some la croix down now to get back in neutral.

I try to eat my biggest meal of the day in the mid-afternoon when I can and have virtually eliminated "dinner" from my diet. Apparently they do that in other countries so I kind of assimilated that from my wife and I like it a lot better.

Seems healthier to be active for a while after eating most of your food rather than eating it closer to bed.

Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner is just way too much food most of the time. Quick snack in the morning, a decent meal at some point between 2-6pm, maybe another small snack or something afterward.

Lol brunch.

Always stupifying, it's happening again; City of Biloxi in the news because of tweeting about services being off tomorrow for "Great Americans Day".

Meanwhile, in Mobile, I'm seeing it referred to as "Robert E. Lee's Birthday" whereas it's usually at least got a "/ MLK Day".

In case you were wondering, Robert E. Lee's birthday is January 19th. I guess Biloxi is trying to be subtle, or something, but I do marvel at the dissonance to imply the head of the Confederate Army was a "great American".

8-12 people drinking and eating together for a few hours is always fun, especially when it's 35 and raining like it was here yesterday and there's nothing else to do
