hipster beer snobs are different than the beer snobs timmay is referring to, found that funny.

He.nr.y is living in Ottawa because 196k in Toronto can barely get you a decent Steak (or Italian) and a lapdance (from girls who totally don't think you are pathetic for being a regular at a strip club), but allows you to wallow in luxury in Ottawa.

no see the strippers only think the regulars who give them cash are pathetic. strippers want to **** h...e.n..ry because he spends all his time in strip clubs but never pays or tips them.

My local shop used to carry Ruination but stopped.

Talk about a serious life beat.

In fact, going to Bouchon tonight - thinking of starting with whatever Sancerre they have that looks nice, then maybe a 2002 Domaine Serene Jerusalem Hill followed by some 2003 Pavie Macquin, or perhaps some 2006 Hundred Acre - Kayli Morgan Vineyard.

they had a separate "eating out" budget iirc

my point isn't that it's inconceivable to spend that much on wine a month; it's that if you're budgeting $500 every month for wine then you are not allowed to complain about how hard it is to make ends meet.

I know. It's like Patrick Ewing's "sure I make a lot of money, but I spend a lot of money too!" quote.

What do you drink? Some variation of spiced rum?

That's basically just a sore throat away from sucking **** by choice.

Might need nath to help with that one but no spiced rums are terrible. I drink a lot of Crown which obv isn't high high end but jfc it's not ****ty beer and it gets me drunk.
