I stayed in the Hyde Park area in London and it was great for walking around/places to eat and has many Tube stations for easy access to other areas.

I'd guess they're all just named after the london park.

Hyde park is a weird place in chicago. It's one of those areas with multimillion dollar houses a few blocks away from the 'ghetto'

I was joking with BASaint once about how I slipped in the Round Pond by Kensington Palace in Hyde Park when I was there. He responded that one of his classmates was found at the bottom of said pond. That put a damper on the jokes.

There's also a King St., Queen St. and Main St. in every city. And I think Dundas St. and Yonge St. might be popular too, but, on second thought, I doubt it.
