Yes but Im not reccomending to bet on them to win the WC. Im just saying they are underated in the market.

For instance last world cup Algeria were 2000 to 1 and thereby underated, the smart way of taking advantage of that was not betting on them to win the World Cup but to bet on them to get out of the group.

Japan is 150 to 1, South Korea 250 to 1, Saudi Arabia 500 to 1, Australia 750 to 1.
Somehow Iran which hasnt conceded a single goal and is the only qualified team is at 1000 to 1.
If Iran is underated in the winning world cup department , they will probably be underated in the getting out of the group department as well.

The other team that looked underated to me was Poland at 100 to 1 but now they are 80 to 1 which means I lost the chance to point it out and look smart as well.

Another team that will probably have value is whoever comes alive from the Senegal/Burkina Faso mess because both teams are underated imo.

There can be a lot of value betting teams for weaker confederations against the weaker UEFA sides that manage to luckbox their way into the World cup. Whoever wins group D will probably be overated by the market ( that group is the Ireland/Serbia/Wales group).

If you can back a 1000-1 shot and lay them off at 500-1 when their odds contract, that's a nice quick way to double your money.

The last time they were good was probably 20 years back. Odd they are not as good as Denmark or Sweden at various team sports like Ice Hockey and Handball. It's probably because you're 4 hours on the bus to get to the next city anywhere outside of the Oslo Met.

We can hope to have a good team again around 2050 if we look at the cycle

Norway just seem to be much worse at sport in general than their Scandanivian cousins. I even include esports in that (Creolophus GOAT though).
