Re: Soccer/Football random discussion thread

lol Spain.

That was a beauty of a ball by Pogba near the end.

Deulofeu doing well.
Him and Grimaldo seem like the best players on the Spanish side.

Re: Soccer/Football random discussion thread

Since I gave Ronaldo **** for taking the 5th penalty for Portugal I have to say Deulofeu is an idiot for putting himself last as well.

Glad Spain went through. Better team for sure, but man their defense sucks.

The purchase of Alba and the knowledge that Grimaldo is coming up behind him is part of the reason that Muniesa may never break into the first team. Crazy that Grimaldo is only 16. Should be interesting to watch in the future.

Muniesa might well go to Ajax, as Moisander is too expensive.

Re: Soccer/Football random discussion thread

Yeah, I know he's not too special, but from what I read, the price tag of 6million is too much. Obv you can say it as in he's not good enough to cost 6million.

Re: Soccer/Football random discussion thread

Excuse my Americanness but random question. If I were to buy a soccer jersey from a team, is it more common to just buy a generic jersey or to have a players name/number on the back?

In America its always buy the jersey with favorite player/number on the back but I think I'm under the influence that its the other way around in Europe?

the "cool" way to operate is to buy a jersey with a real ****e player from that team on the back. I've been buying England shirts for 10 years and always get one with "Heskey" on the back of it.

i prefer generic or the name of a player that has a history and are considered idols or immortals in the club. For example: Gerrard in liverpool, Lampard or Terry in Chelsea, Rooney, Scholes, giggs etc in manutd.

I don't like to buy with name of players that were recently signed, no matter how good they are. One day they play for your team and the next he is scoring goals against you.

But thats just a fan view, if you dont care then woteva

yes, why shouldn't i be?
