we also used farm machinery as 'hoops' and we'd spend hours just kicking the ball into either a spare tractor wheel double or a seed spreader or something. or we'd leave the shed door open a bit and try to kick it in the shed door but we ended up breaking all the lights in the shed
Spaarnwoude, which is somewhere in Noord-Holland, apparently
There's a footgolf weekend 27-28-29 November, I'm guessing it's a normal golf course and once in a while they prepare it for footgolf by making bigger holes.
Congratulations to Switzerland. I didn't watch the final, but Nigeria were heavy favorites, having played brillantly throughout the tournament and being at home.
Nigeria had the upper hand of the match and the best chances in the first half, however it was unlikely that they would have been able to keep up the same pace in the second 45 minutes and Switzerland took advantage of it by scoring the winning goal in one of the two chances they had in the match. Nigeria had a big equalizer opportunity with 20 minutes left, but the forward header hit the bar and the Swiss keeper was then able to somehow stop the ball from crossing the line in the mass scuffle that followed.
