Re: Soccer - 2012 Summer Transfer Window

Re: Adam Johnson,

I think he would be a really good pick up for someone but didn't he sign a new contract during the season? Not that that means much I guess but he must want to stay and pick up his wages, in footballing terms it was a horrible move for himself seeing as City are gonna spend again this summer and like you say push him further down the line.

What?! Llorente to Sunderland? That's absolutely absurd, isn't it?

Apparently some Dortmund guy on Twitter has said Kagawa is in Manchester as we speak to talk about a possible move to Man Utd.

Llorente to Sunderland is a pretty awesome rumor.

Where will he to go though? Is he needed at Real? Fit at Barca? If not then someone will have to swoop in for him.

Would love him at Spurs but think he has played himself out of our league.

Courtois will stay on loan for at least another year. Cech is playing too good at the moment.

I can't let the second comment go unchallenged. He's a complete liability and would have zero chance of starting the final on Saturday were it not for suspensions and injuries, especially the one to Ivanovic. He played great when parking the bus but that was fine as he didn't have any license to go forward and neglect his duties at the back. He must be sold. He's at fault for a ridiculous number of goals. I don't think he's played well at all in recent months.

Mind utterly blown.

Yes this would send an exceptional message to all the youth trying to break into the team. His form dropped towards the end but taken over all he had an outstanding season in his breakthrough year.

He has been no where within a million miles of superb, he has been slightly better than his normal ultra low standards but still absolutely miles away from were we want a Chelsea player to be.

Agree on both counts. What you say below refers to Kalou. Slight improvement but still way below what we need. He has to go along with Malouda who we should pay to go.

RE: Sturridge... He will learn eventually. Getting dropped will help him. Must stay for next year and re evaluate his progress. When the likes of Kalou can stay for 6 years, Sturridge needs to stay.

Sturridge scored as many goals in the League as Drogs and Torres combined, and got 7 assists. The idea we should loan him out is beyond terrible, especially with Drogs on the way out.

Re: Soccer - 2012 Summer Transfer Window

Sturridge had a great first 6 months of the season individually.

It's not a coincidence that for that same period we were largely awful as a team.

Him being out of the side is as big of a factor as any in our season turning imo.

I'm not saying we should keep Bossy but as I said, i'd be less against it than I would have been months ago.

I'd like us to sign a RB, we've forever been linked with VDW and Azpilicuetta and more recently Simpson.

If we're to miss out on Champions League however, taking up our option on Bossy to keep as backup to Ivanovic would be one of the more convenient and lower impact ways to tighten the belt.

Gemeinsam mit seinem Berater Thomas Kroth flog Kagawa am Montagabend nach England. Ziel: Manchester! A move to the red devils seems more probable each day, or could a competitor pick him up instead? Manchester seems the most likely destination but the 23 old Kagawa is on the wishlist of other english topclubs as well: Arsenal, home club of german internationals Per Mertesacker and Lukas Podolski, supposedly are interested as well.
