still trying to wrap my mind around that. did he actually say he's better or that he would rather have him on his team based on x, y, z? which is pretty much the same thing.

heard him say he'd take howard given bynum's injury record yesterday.... but he's sticking with bynum if not for injury..... guess he's trolling us for ratings.

So Flex Wheeler would be the greatest basketball player ever if he tried out for the NBA?

Kordell Stewart may be (legit) mad that Tebow got an opportunity to start in the NFL while a number of similarly talented (Running And Passing QBs) didn't get an opportunity before him. Subsequently these players who didn't get such opportunities were mostly African-American.
I also think it has to do with kordell being jealous of tebow and the fanfare he gets on some level. Its pretty easy to tell and seems kinda pathetic.

no, he definitely said dwight has no post moves, and that orlando should be the ones pushing for the trade because bynum is better.

Fixed.

I enjoy First Take, ATH, and PTI. Shrug. Good time passers when there's nothing else to watch and I DVR them so it's commercial free.

Bayless can be good when he's being serious but most of the times he is just a ******ed troll.

This is an excellent point.

-----

I've tired of ATH, Bomani Jones is just plain horrible as an analyst. First Take is pretty entertaining and PTI is not bad.

-----

Skip is def. a smart troll. It's great on First Take to see people get so furious at him.

LOL at the 6:30 mark when Skip is talking about the Patriots offense and Suggs casually hits back with, "they went 16 and 'oh'?"

the 2 live stew guys that are guests on first take are the most generic, moronic 'personalities' in all of sports.

They're actually far from that. They were pretty groundbreaking when they started out on sports radio in Atlanta in 2001. Basically, they used a "hip-hop," not really caring if the white listeners, which is the majority of the sports radio audience, "got it." They were originally on the air late at night - I remember when they started, I couldn't even always hear them clearly because the station powered down at night.

They became really popular, got moved to a prime afternoon slot, and eventually got national attention. I believe they have the most popular show on their station, and possibly Atlanta (although now that the national ESPN radio shows have been here for a few years, I'm not so sure about that).

I remember there being an article in SI about them several years ago.

EDIT: Yup, here's the article.

I stand very corrected.

however, they are still morons.

I listened to one of them shout for 6 minutes that the Lee Evans catch shouldn't have been reviewed because "ONLY PLAYS WITH ACTUAL SCORES ARE BOOTH REVIEWABLE. IT WAS CALLED INCOMPLETE." completely ignoring the concept of requirement vs. option (anyone who covers sports for a living should know that booth can review any play inside of 2 mins...)

Yeah, I've never really been that into them, but I can see their appeal. When I used to listen to sports radio more (and the station they are on is very good with an excellent morning show imo), I enjoyed them as a change of pace, especially when they really sounded like brothers (as opposed to "brothers," which they are, as well) arguing and talking trash to each other.

I think it would be fun if they had Skip Bayless on their radio show and didn't hold back. They generally do a good job of arguing with him, but have to be a bit more calm/polished for the general ESPN audience.

Skip can be such an ass at times.

Giving grief to Tebow for being "friends" & tweeting with lebron, "I hate that...." quote skip

his hatred for Lebron and his derogatory talk of players should result in a massive beatdown one of these days. -but i still find it mildly entertaining

however, i am starting to gravitate towards Mike & Mike in the morning as being much more relevant and serious.

i used to watch first take a few years ago. i can see skip's appeal, he at least isn't afraid to take shots at people. however his inability to give credit to people he doesn't like is just too sad. he used to hate on TO, then TO had his unbelievable performance in the Super Bowl. of course Skip said they were the quietest 122 yards he had ever seen, and that the Eagles should have thrown more to Greg Lewis. i guess if you like watching Skip come up with his absurd reasons for hating/liking different guys, then fair enough. after a while though i decided, i'm not enjoying watching this on any level, and i'm happy that i've probably watched about 15 minutes of skip in the last 3 years

and i don't think he's trolling, people really are just that stubborn
