After many years of study, I have concluded that Colin Cowherd is more ******ed than Bayless.

he reminds me of my pop the one year me him and my brother picked 3 NFL games every Sunday against the spread...he went 6-0 the first 2 weeks and the third week, he's calling an hour early, proudly giving analysis on his picks...by week 10 he was like 10-17 just texting team names at 1255pm with no line. lol

Prime time enough for those guys to get paid millions and is arguably ESPN's #1 content show.

I used to think he's nothing more than a hack (and probably is a hack in many respects), but when you factor in how little viewers care about that show when Skip is not there, it shows you how he has completely mastered his craft.

just ignore that useless post. he thought he was making a clever gotcha by nitting up a specific american definition of "prime time" tv meaning evening hours, and then everyone would join in to sing praises and give him props for that mad burn

He's been anchoring that show for 10 years. Its extremely difficult to anchor any kind of prime time show, let alone for 10 years.

Or anchor for that matter.

Hey has anyone said that Skip is actually really smart and really knows what he's doing yet? I can't tell.

Why the **** do you watch ESPN? I gave that up like 10 years ago.

If skip was a SE poster, how fast would he be banned?

ESPN only cares about ratings and revenue for Disney/ABC. They would put on a Monkey humping a football for 2 hours if it made more money.

The only time I tune in is to watch a game and I only tune in when the game starts so I can avoid all their pre-game bs.

I vaguely recall him giving either a perfect game or a no-hitter a ~7 out of 10 once.

Do you see any difference between Kardashians and him, both get paid millions and both mastered the craft, only possible in Great country America

Skip Bayless has been a master at playing the contrarian for over a decade. He might be better at his job than literally every single TV personality espn has

Colin Cowherd is not only legit braindead, he's agressively braindead

Ive never minded skip bayless tbh. Just over dramatic is my only criticism, but hes on TV so w/e. He definitely seems like he would be real cool off camera.

Cowherd likes to be contrarian too, he's just not nearly as good at it as Skip. Skip is savvy enough to troll people into thinking he actually believes his own trolls, where with Cowherd no one is really buying it.

Cowherd was also super annoying in that, at least before I stopped listening to him on radio a few years ago, he'd spend an inordinate amount of time defending the Mother Ship from whatever criticism du jour it was facing. I remember one time him going on a rant against some fan who was complaining about his four 10-minute commercial breaks per hour, proudly declaring victory because "it's only THREE commercial breaks, not four, GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT." Just a completely unentertaining bore.

Cowherd likes to claim to be controversial when hes not which is real wierd. For example he thinks hes controversial because hes a big lebron fan.

That's standard for a lot of hot take artists. I listen to mad dog sports talk radio sometimes, where it happens a fair bit. I like Adam schein, but it's hilarious when he'll say something totally standard but in a passionate and edgy type way, and act like it's extremely controversial, but profound.

Cowherd seems like an real life ******* who also tries to troll.

Skip stays in character 27/7 so I have no idea what he's like in real life, but it's all so big and goofy that I don't find him as loathsome as Cowherd (who for intance just seems like he really hates John Wall, whereas I don't know/care how Skip actually feels about LeBron).

Cowherd definitely seems like he's an enormous *******

Wikipedia says he had a HOT TAKE on how Sean Taylor had it coming and that anyone who mourned him wasn't a grown up

You should like Cowherd since he's a huge Seattle guy. Skip stays in character...what is that 27 days a month, 7 months a year?

Cowherd's thing is that he's always trying to find a metaphor or parallel between sports and life, so he'll start his rant not knowing where it's going to end up, and won't stop talking until he finds a parallel. But sometimes that parallel makes no sense. And instead of him going "You know what, nevermind, that makes no ****ing sense." he ends the segment like it does, even though I'm not sure he believes it. Sometimes he makes great metaphors but a lot of time they make no sense. He'd be bearable if he admitted that what he just said made no sense, laughed, then moved on. Instead, he's willing to die on that hill.

Pretty much gave up on him like 6 years ago when he ranted about how MARK SANCHEZ was gonna be a great NFL QB because he was handsome and that meant he was confident and that meant he'd be good. I mean what the flying ****.

Peyton Manning looks like a horse. And there are handsome, confident dudes all over the ****ing planet who suck at throwing a football. What a god damn stupid thing to say. But he was on like a 10 minute rant b/c Sanchez had a pretty girlfriend. Yes, I'm sure other college QBs all date pointy-elbowed hags. If there's anything we know about college QBs it's that they are socially awkward and lack confidence.
