I remember reading somewhere he refuses to wear suits and doesn't allow employees to wear them. I also remember hearing he didn't bother interviewing a guy for a job because he showed up wearing a suit.

Well that sounds legal. There's no way this is true. He might discourage suit-wearing but he would be an idiot to openly forbid it. And he's not an idiot so that kinda narrows it down.

LOL just watched the vid.

Bayless's credibility (among those who somehow still think he has any) is totally shattered. Skip is usually the guy who talks just loud enough to make the other person's rational argument not be heard; but in this case he was just totally dominated by Cuban.

he gets dominated by Stephen A too but coming from someone you would expect to be an expert it doesn't look as bad. After seeing Cubans Bball knowledge I am questioning Stephen A too, maybe he is supposed to go easy on skip.

Cuban is great in this segment. I would love to see NBA, and other sport, commentators to actually educate the audience a little bit. Do some homework, watch some film (NOT JUST THE HIGHLIGHTS), and put out a product that actually shows some in-depth look into how the game played out. It's one thing to tell us "the thunder didn't make enough changes" and quite another to take the time to point them out.

First Take is one of the most absurd shows. It's ****ing hours long and the context of the stories they talk about aren't even skin deep, but yet they constantly repeat story lines!!!!

I think Mark Cuban won the debate,...because he wanted it more.

Not only does Cuban school Bayless, he does it wearing a Smurf T shirt.

The greatest thing about Mark Cuban is that Steven A. Smith was completely cognizant that he was out of his league against the Mavericks owner and incredibly stayed silent during the entire interview. And wisely so.

Stephen A got knocked down a lot more than Skip. Skip is the every man sitting on his couch giving his kooky opinions. Stephen A pretends he's an insider and actually somehow pulls off talking down to basketball people. Cuban made Skip look like exactly what he is and basically what he admits to being...a non-expert bouncing his opinions around. Stephen A got made to look like the pretender in the room and that's with the guy who just signs the checks. Makes his act all the more ridiculous, Skip's still just Skip nobody ever thought any differently.

The way he does it is so great, its certainly insulting to Skip but its insulting in a way Skip cant handle: its not just shouting "Youre an idiot! I DISAGREE!" at him, which he can just shout back. Its calling him an idiot, calmly, for very specific reasons, and then going on to detail and support those reasons. Honestly not sure how Skip can watch/listen to that and not be effected a little.

Aside from the fact that Skip is a fake person and doesnt even like sports. Would have been even more amazing if he ends it with "But I know you dont care about any of this, since you dont actually watch sports, you dont actually believe any of this, and this is all just an act for ESPN to trick gullible viewers into tuning in.
