Ha I kind of agree. If you are going to go all sci-fi and put dragons in, you may as well ****ing use them to advance and further the story. There could easily be no dragons and nothing would be different. Now Queen Hypocrite puts her dragons in chains and allows slaves to contract themselves out as indentured servants basically. cool story bro.

dany perkins is so bad that at this point i'd be thrilled with season 5 opening with a passing mention of her dying on her way to her home planet and never being mentioned again

Stannis showing up wasn't out of the blue at all. Melisandre told him that's where they needed to be. And those skeleton dudes, meh, whatever, I'm 100% back on board with Bran learning to fly. Children of the forest is going to be awesome to learn about. Braavos with Arya should be fun. Tyrion and Varys going there? Or maybe Dorne? Seems like GRRM decided he wanted to explore the world he created. Who will be alive/dead between Tywin/Gregor/Sandor?

what i liked:

varys spending a lifetime to be so careful to not butter the wrong bread only to butter the wrong bread


what i didn't:

assuming the hound's dead, that sucks
too little time was spent building to too epic a moment. what was that, like 10 total minutes of runtime between jamie opening the door and tyrion killing tywin? **** that


what i hated:

weird thing about stannis showing up was that we knew he was going up there, yet before they actually showed him on camera, I didn't believe it was him.

The worst one in the previews was the Arya Jagen (sp?) part that basically said "HEY GUYS, SHE GOIN ALL BRAVOSI HERE". And lol at no explanation for her not seeing Sansa when she was just yards away. The guards didn't feel like mentioning that?

Francis - I was trying to think of some reason she would want to use him as human sacrifice. Seems just as likely.

Without the dragons, Dany wouldn't have gotten her small following after Drogo dies, and she would not have her army of Unsullied.

The guards have no idea Sansa is there. The only people who do are the three older people who were questioning Littlefinger, Robyn, and Lysa.

There's approximately a 0% chance Ned was telling the truth to Robert. Remember when Melisandre was telling Stannis that it doesn't matter than Gendry escaped, there's more people out there with king's blood? Pretty sure it's a lock of all locks that Jon Snow's mother isn't some random whore, and I doubt that Ned Stark is actually his father. He's one of the others with king's blood
