Feel bad for anyone still clinging to the idea that this might be anything approaching a GOAT tier TV show. It's way more fun to accept that it's dumb and kinda sucks now, and enjoy it like a Fast and Furious movie - huge expensive action set pieces, comedy banter, cheesy badly acted romantic beats. Watch with friends, shout at the screen, laugh at the stupid parts, cheer for Bronn and Tormund. It's still a lot of fun. But treating it like art is lol

This is where I am. This season it has gone from probably my favorite series ever to me legit not even caring how it ends, they've just completely ruined the show with terribad writing. Terts & Dragons imo.

If you can't look past the actor being famous for other things then that's a you problem.

Like if Shaq is in Game of Thrones and you're thinking "why is Shaq doing this?" then it's your problem for thinking of him as Shaq as opposed to the character he is playing.

The dragon's eyes did look quite similar to the eyes of Crastor's son when he was turned to a WW. The bear from earlier in this episode looked different, with light blue or blue-white eyes.

I have no idea how to explain it though. WW are turned while living. Viserion was obviously dead. But, the NK can mass raise wights in a fairly large general vicinity, but he actually touched the dragon, similar to how babies are turned to WW.

The only show that didn't do this at all was Breaking Bad. Even the Wire had a massive dropoff in the last season. It's excusable because seasons 3 and 4 were the peak of television, and the GOATiest of GOATs, but still, it was big dropoff with some unreasonable and silly plot devices that didn't exist elsewhere.

Kudos to Breaking Bad. Likely the greatest show that will ever be made.
