ya The Good Place is a quality network sitcom, and The Young Pope has generally been pretty entertaining so far, though ep4 was kinda slow and boring for me

I didn't find it that funny, but the plot is actually pretty good, weird for a sitcom. Definitely looking forward to next season

I recommend trying The Night Manager. It's on Amazon but not sure if it's exclusive. 6 episode season and that drug addicted doctor (House?) plays the bad guy. The premise is a small intelligence agency in London trying to catch someone they believe to be an arms dealer of sorts.

I wouldn't say it's elite but I found it to be very solid.

thought the YOUNG POPE was supposed to be a miniseries (basically the main reason i finished it), but apparently there might actually be a season 2 in 2019 or something? really don't think i need that, was quite bored with it a lot of the time. needed to either take itself less seriously and dial the campiness up to 11, or just be better overall. instead it mostly operated in a weird middle ground that didn't really work too well. boy it sure looked nice tho! *shrug*
