Reading through this thread I can't believe people didn't like the episode. I thought the 1st 2 of this season were pretty bad but it's been getting better, last week was better than this week but GEEZ this week hit hard

HODOR thing is ****ing amazing storytelling and television and profoundly painful, his entire life from ~ 12 forward was sacrificed for Bran from the future, and he must have known it and was powerless to fight it. Loyal to the end, and what is dead can never die.

yeah when people criticize the fat author, you just gotta laugh and look at the HODOR storyline. it's beautiful.

I didn't like the ep overall. Last two weeks were both much better. A lot of just wasted time here, mostly with Arya. I just really don't care much about the Bran/Meera/Forest Children/Tree guy stuff. And don't care much about Hodor either.

Only thing interesting this ep was Donald J. Greyjoy and Sansa.

I think LF might be screwing her over. He said Blackfish took back Riverrun. Who had it? Brienne probably gonna get ambushed and then LF throws knights of the Vale to Ramsay at last minute and Bolton's win the war.

The RAM prevails and life goes on and we all lol at Jon.

Ya blackfish thing makes no sense. Sansa definitely getting played unless I missed something. At least I don't remember a scene indicating bf has an army and is ready to march nor do I remember him parlaying with lf.

So lf is like yo sansa, I got knights of the Vale and along with blackfish we gonna eff Ramsay up. Sansa is like cool but I don't trust you or like you BC you tossed me to Ramsay and he raped me bad. Oh wait I trust you about blackfish so I'm just gonna ride over to riverrun but I don't want your help.

Now, iirc, sansa needs to ride across some pretty hostile territory to get to RR. And she is only going on the word of the guy who sold her out cruelly. Ya, as usual, lolol stark.

Also, in the last flashback, who was the kid eddatd was sending off saying don't fight, but if you do, win.

Really liked that ep. Last scene was fantastic. Little worried that the rest of the show is just gonna be BRAN calling the shots since he's already shown to have influenced past events.

Arya is soooo terrible. Incredibly obvious she will refuse to kill the actress and never become no one, grab Needle again and leave.

Hopefully the high sparrow gets got next week.

Was it taking place in King's Landing, if so it seems like the kind of insult to the royalty that would get prison or death under other rulers. Seems like it may also be an indication that the people in KL have lost all respect. This navy coming to free Margery is going to backfire pretty hard.
