How super powerful people die now is laughable. Prince of done and son - betrayal, his guards do nothing. Lord Grey joy - walks home late at night with no guards, tossed off bridge. Roose - betrayal guards do nothing.

But the Khal scene which was kinda sick had the absolute worst set up. Jorah and Darrio go TMNT mode sneak through a massive amount of people, speak with Dany, get to the critical location undetected, get oil from heaven and spread it all over the room. That's the kinda thing that didn't happen in the first 4 seasons but writers are cutting some pretty big corners to move things towards the end.

Also not recasting the Vale lord that we last saw sucking his mom's tits was hilarious

thought LF's play with Bolton was pretty weird when it happened, trying to play the middle i guess and it's all kinda catching up with him. going from nothing to controlling the Eyrie is nice, but yeah he seems destined to get got Prop Joe style sooner than later.

and speaking of bad plans ... this thing with the Tyrells snatching up Marg and attacking the FM, aren't they risking Loras if he's still locked up there? also putting the ire of THA FM MASSES bullseye on themselves (the Lannisters shouldn't escape completely, but still). hope Olenna is one step ahead here.
