I haven't seen any 2013 first-round projections including Murray. I've seen a couple 2014 projections having him as the third quarterback taken. Nice that he'll stick around another year. The team looks to be better next year, although they might do worse. Playing Bama, at LSU, and at Clemson.

The irony of people rallying behind Southern Cal and simultaneously complaining about the SEC cheating is awesome

lol right?
I haven't seen anyone even bat an eye over how USC has emerged from some pretty severe sanctions virtually unscathed recruiting-wise. Bama suffered similar scholarship reductions and it took them 5 years and two coaches (three if you count Mike Price) to recover. USC is already penciled into the MNC game the first year they're bowl eligible. And it's "Wow, that Lane Kiffin sure knows how to recruit during tough times" and "they sure have managed their scholarships well!" and "our school is so awesome these 4-and 5-star recruits will just come play here and pay their own way!"

Re: 2012 SEC Football (yes, we'll win another championship; deal with it)
Here's a quick Auburn scouting report from limited info:
Offense:
New coordinator, Scott Leoffler from Temple, will have his hands full. No Auburn QB was worth a damn last year and that includes this year's presumed starter Kiehl Frazier. Clint Moseley is the backup and Auburn fans don't want to even entertain that scenario. The running game needs to be Auburn's offensive identity and Jay Prosch the juggernaut fullback transfer from Illinois needs to blow open holes for our RB by committee. Dyer is gone. MacCaleb is back, as is Tre Mason, and newly eligible transfers Blakely from UF and Grant from Bama. The O line was weak last year. It has to be a strength now or it will be a long year. I admit I am not optimistic about the offense, but if Frazier surprises me then I will change my tune quickly.
Defense:
New coordinator Brian Van Gorder, formerly of the Falcons and Georgia. The feeling is that Auburn's defense will return to being nasty sooner rather than later, but it all depends on the LBs. The line will be dominant and the DBs are talented. LB is the weak link, so we may be a year away there. We'll see.
Special Teams:
Auburn's kicking game should be solid as usual. All-SEC candidates in Parkey and Clark. Return and coverage teams are usually very good.

Nobody said anything about 4 and 5 star recruits paying their own way, that's the sec specialty with oversigning and greyshirts. I was referencing preferred walkons and, for instance, Nebraska's 4th string TE from last year going into his RS Senior year.

Parents went to USC, grew up a USC fan, going into my sophomore year at Michigan State this year though.
