good pick, Tauros is the best he is at what he does among available pokemon. There isn't a better sweeper available

BTW, I wasn't trying to impose with my own ruleset or something, I was responding to a post that said "Mewtwo with unlimited TM's destroys everything." While obviously true, a better solution is to ban Mewtwo, rather than ban TM's for everyone else. TM's make a ton of undrafted things really, really good. Like top-5 and top-10 good. Way better than things already drafted.

Cool. Unlimited draft with 649 pokemon and unlimited TM's. You down?

Tauros is like the best pokemon in RBY. Not even levelling, if you don't know why you're a pokemon fish.

I strongly considered Tauros at 3. He is the GOAT sweeper with a 20% crit strike. With high speed and high attack he basically just one hits you before you get a chance to attack. Tauros has no counter unless you go against some n00b trainer that switches Tauros in.

Lapras directly counters Articuno, actually it is Articuno's #1 counter.

Undrafted > Both tho IMO

prefer Articuno to Lapras vs a wide field

Yeah although in this format Tauros can't reach his full potential. You need Earthquake no matter what (or else you don't have coverage) but you're stuck with the crappy Take Down instead of Body Slam and Hyper Beam (lol RBY).

re: SE Pokémon Draft

Lapras's move pool also is superior to Articuno's. That with the number of other stated reasons is why I chose Lapras over Articuno. Articuno does have some sick speed and is the very rare Ice type. So I'm not hating the pick, I actually really like it. Just like Lapras more.
