There are probably three or four people here who know who Mike Barrett is; he's the play-by-play guy for the Portland Trail Blazers TV broadcasts. He is as unoriginal as it gets, every game is basically a script. In the final minutes of quarters he ALWAYS mentions how "important it is to close out quarters" and never says why. Why are the final two minutes of the third quarter more important than, say the 8:00-6:00 mark in the 4th Mike? Eat hot **** Barrett. Wheels owns you.

Barrett is the worst combination of homer and basketball un-knowledge. At least his partner Mike Rice kind of knows what he's talking about and occasionally gets thrown out of games. Barrett can't even accurately describe what is going on on the court, tonight he described a 4 on 5 Blazer break as "Here we go Portland has a 3 on 1!" I'm not sure if he even played basketball and continually wonder why people think he's qualified to announce basketball games. He is horrible, turbl even.

On top of all his ****, I guess Barrett went to my high school and was just honored there. He was before my time, but hopefully somebody kicked his ass while he was there.

Improbable host of MOTD2. His football knowledge seems to consist of supporting WBA and yet he manages to retain his position as host of this show. **** you Adrian, your insights are full of ****, maybe if you lost some ****ing weight you'd be able to think about something other than kebabs. Then perhaps you would stop supporting WBA and gain some credibility. **** off and die.

Adrian Chiles > Gary Lineker when it comes to hosting MOTD. It's not like the host has to offer any insight anyway, just asks inane questions and let Hansen and Shearer string together whatever series of cliches they like. And 2 Good 2 Bad is generally pretty funny with Chiles doing it.

Don't forget that he drove the CBA, which was the oldest pro basketball league in the USA, right into the ground in just 18 months of "leadership."

Rick Reilly

I can't imagine someone who got so many accolades for less. He's been national sportswriter of the year no fewer than ELEVEN times, despite (or perhaps because of) being an arrogant prick.

I was an SI subscriber in the early 2000s, and I always marveled at the fact that Reilly had the prime spot on the last page, whereas the much less obnoxious (and actually pretty awesome) Steve Rushin had to languish in the slot between the beer ads and the Scorecard.

* After going on about Jack Nicklaus being willing to hang out with the media for a while, he goes, "And this is why Tiger Woods will never be as loved as Jack."

* Ragged on LeBron James for being ruled ineligible for accepting some schwag back in high school, saying it was the result of James feeling rule-proof" and "lacking parental guidence."

James appealed his ineligibility and won, which of course Reilly chose not to acknowledge.

* Hammered Sammy Sosa on his supposed (later demonstrated) steroid use, while slurpig Bill Romanowski over his "workout routine."

* Numerous other examples of holier-than-thou attitude, especially on the subject of steroids.

* Bitching about the low-quality of ESPN -- again, not wrongfully, but then in 2007 he decided to leave Sports Illustrated because SI wanted to pay him a paltry $1.5 million a year for his annoying columns. Of ****ing course, he goes straight to ESPN when they offer him $3.4 million a year.

This is the profile of a man who is both a) incapable of seeing other people in terms other than black-and-white and b) a hypocrite. I HOPE YOU DIE OF A ****ING STROKE.

Until this year you have been an average QB, you have had great defenses and good offensive talent around you. Yet everyone seems to think you are elite and you can do no wrong. Whenever you make a great play it's just Ben extending the play, however no one ever mentions the ******ed picks or sacks or fumbles he makes while trying to extend the play.
