The SE Music Thread - Sporting Events and Fantasy Sports

An SE music thread would be cool.

1) No embedded videos. They're somewhat useful in most threads (okay, that's debatable), but in a music thread, every post consisting solely of one song gets the same amount of attention anyway, and all they do is bring about a page-loading nightmare--one with sloppy color coordination to boot.

1a) Corollary: posts consisting solely of one song are generally bad, unless the song is new or something.

2) Actually, that'd be the only rule.

Artists I've been listening to today: Cayucas, Tristan Prettyman, Warpaint, and Ani DiFranco.

don't agree with rule 1A really, if ppl just want to post 1 kool song they like then whatever, but rule 1 is good. embedded page spams are just bad news, posting the link is good enough imo.

would also like to add that for this thread to be most effective, perhaps ppl would like to say something about the song they're posting. why it's good, why they like, maybe sell us on the band or whatever if they're lesser known.
