Only in Quebec and New Brunswick.

I agree though, **** the metric system...I mean, how could anyone think that simple conversion factors between universal measurement units would be a good idea? Much easier to create exclusive, separate units for each measurement instead.

I remember when I was still in high school and When Broken is Easily Fixed came out, that was a pretty big deal for aspiring Burlington musicians such as myself, "zomg a Burlington band that's not Finger Eleven made it big". I think that was the only time I ever saw them play, after the release of that album...could've been the Sound of Music festival, perhaps at the Polish Canadian club on Fairview, don't remember...in either case, they were off to bigger and better things.

10 points for getting it right, and then -10 for not realizing their new album title was my location all along

That's pretty wicked that they're getting int'l exposure. I lost touch with them after high school, maybe I'll have to check them out again.

Most awesome band to come out of Burlington though is still The Next Best Thing fwiw...TNBT's live shows were legendary around these parts.

yeah theyre in england touring now, I saw them in atlanta last semester with blessthefall + before their eyes and then the semester before that in a sick show with alesana/escape the fate/skylit drive/chiodos. Couple years ago I remember them with aiden, hawthorne heights, and bayside (pretty sure that was the tour that holohan died on)

wut? I saw them dozens of times in high school because they, too, were in high school and played at everything even remotely related to music, or that a band could appear at, for the 5 years I was there. I didn't seek them out, I couldn't avoid them.

Not everyone under 25 likes screaming/growling. In the HS's now it's the kids listening to HH being stuffed in lockers tbh (and for good reason).

It's emo. Emo is not good if it comes from Canada, America, Britain or anywhere. We can still rag on how he "Despairs a generation" though.

But if our generation's musical contribution is seen as that, fml.
