Imagine if UK Parliament used the same mechanism to block Scottish Indy (if they had voted in favour)...

I don't think it's very likely to happen, but I definitely think she could pull it off if she really wanted to.

Oh look, even the head of the Leavetards knows it was a stupid idea and is now vowing to very slowly implement the same **** with a different name to avoid being exposed as a complete and total fraud:

Hope so. Just got a promotion that give me a book of clients that will generate an agreed upon compensation number. Lower the market is on the day that happens the better lol. Gonna be within a week or two, have already ran great so far. Coulda been getting it at all time highs. Could possibly get significant raise within first few weeks/months without doing jack **** if market bounces back.

Can't wait to see the market tank, what a buying opportunity. Hopefully, the price drops to zero. Then I'm picking up the whole thing.

And also on Monday, the head of the Brexit campaign said it was important to delay the formal process of leaving the EU because people need to "go away on holiday".

Yeah I'm actually really hoping everything goes to **** in the next few weeks.

I've always felt like our generation (assuming you're ~30) was born at at the nut low time of the last century. Missed out on the huge ROI years of dot com era, started working a year or two too late missing out on the truly massive 100%+ bonuses, and barely too young/not quite enough liquid to pounce on cheap housing in 2009-2010. Crazy to think about how different things could be if we were born even 5 years sooner

On the bright side, you had the internet to do your homework...

Haha touché (though we mostly didn't have internet/computer until HS iirc?)

I'd also like to add that I truly believe we are the last generation that will be expected to physically show up to work. Think we are about 30 years max away from virtually all office-type jobs being done at home/Skype or whatever. That really sucks

Chief Justice John Roberts and Justices Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas dissented.

Thomas wrote that the decision "exemplifies the court's troubling tendency 'to bend the rules when any effort to limit abortion, or even to speak in opposition to abortion, is at issue.'" Thomas was quoting an earlier abortion dissent from Justice Antonin Scalia, who died in February. Scalia has not yet been replaced, so only eight justices voted.
Clarence pretty much can't even wipe his own ass without consulting Zombie Scalia.

I forget why, but I couldn't move my money around fast enough to get in on that as a broke college student. Rooting so hard against the Steelers so that I wouldn't feel regret about missing out

I don't follow how my post possibly concedes that. The American government takes the Islamic threat pretty seriously luckily despite what progtards and eurotards want us to do.

My point is that in dismissing the value of other countermeasures in the US, you're assuming that what moves the needle in the US will move the needle in Turkey. In Turkey their main problem is underfunded and under-resourced homeland security, and a number of adjacent countries containing religious maniacs. What happens in Turkey doesn't have a lot of bearing on what the US should do to combat its problems.

Yeah, WWIII would be a small price to pay to not actually stop terrorist attacks once and for all.
