trying to blame failure on other people doesn't mean the failure isn't there. losing would be a big blow to his political capital, his reputation as the ultimate deal closer (lol), his huge promise to fix Obamacare, and functionally bc it makes his other campaign promises harder to achieve.

but winning might be even worse for him.

I'm more worried about the 31 Christians that commit murder in the US every day (based off of 44 murders per day in the US and 70.6% of people identifying as Christians), but yeah, keep worrying about some random terrorist attack that is often not committed by a Muslim.

"abortions" is 95% a grey area, which makes it complicated. almost everybody agrees that abortions should sometimes be allowed, and almost everybody agrees that they sometimes should not be allowed, there is just wide disagreement about where the lines of ok/not ok are.

Trumps's failure wrt healthcare doesn't really have to do with dealmaking IMO, it has to do with a complete misunderstanding of the basic situation. I think he was genuinely stunned to figure out how hard healthcare was.
