Surprised "He said he was going to self fund his campaign" isn't on there.

Although obviously that isn't really something HRC wants to bring up.

Alpha? Because he dominated Mitch McConnell?!?!?

Mitch McConnell looks like a cartoon turtle that's missing it's shell.

I remember Bush 43 and seeing into his soul, or some mess like that.

Trump was elected on some issues. One was building a wall. It's not obviously bad and possibly good in several ways. I think he should keep his promise to his electorate (which he has been doing ok so far).

If Hillary were elected I'd hope for her to have done something about bathrooms and started world war 3 for no reason like she promised.
If there is a worse post all week someone shoot me a pm

Also, on the subject of meeting Putin on pod save America last week they shared a story that he brought a big dog on his first meeting with Merkel because she was attacked by one as a kid and remains scared of them.

I don't think this is really much to be concerned about tbh. Pence isn't going to retire to his study for half a fortnight to deep-dive into the written opinions of potential SCOTUS nominees any more than the commie puppet-in-chief did. He's going to take the list of whatever names handed to him by Heritage or the Kochs, smile and nod and then nominate whichever one has killed the fewest hookers. They're all going to be "bad" from the standpoint of people who think conservatism sucks.

Mexico will not pay for that wall. Trump's histrionics regarding Mexico and payment are laughable at best.

Also, the cost of building the wall is one thing, but there are also huge costs associated with maintaining a structure of that magnitude which is something very few places have even mentioned.

Aside from that there's the issue of government landgrab (from private citizens) in order to build the wall -- I think this is a pretty significant issue as well, especially if you belong to the "government get off my lawn" crowd.

Lastly, I don't think data supports a wall being an effective deterrent to neither immigration nor smugling, but it's not something I've paid close attention to and I don't have the time right now to look into it.

Manafort confirmed to be a Russian agent until at least 2009 according to AP. Popcorn time.

Did Trump know is literally the only thing the investigation should be focused on. Did he knowingly employ foreign spies? Treason is game over.

Should be funny to hear the Spiceman's spin on this one. I'll go with pretending to barely know who Manafort is then yelling at the media for not covering positive news enough. Maybe sprinkle in something about Hillary and some visual aides of pictures of Pauls closer to the president than Manafort

Yes, he played a "minor role" in the campaign according to The Spice Must Flow.

Campaign manager = minor role

the spin is going to be that Manafort was working for a private citizen, not for the Russian government (which Manafort said as part of this report)

Flynn retroactively registered after his work for Turkey was reported, apparently Manafort never did. I assume he will in short order.

Always a plus if the system lets you off the hook if you just manage to "mea culpa, I'll register" after you're found out.
