Lee inherited and ran a plantation full of slaves for five years where he was a notably sadistic and cruel master. The slaves were freed only as a result of the inheritance stipulation, which Lee tried to circumvent.
Your statement was bull****. A complete ikestoys' level of intellectual dishonesty (whether intentional or just ignorance, idk). You should read the New Yorker article--his army's policy was to capture and enslave any blacks they found when invading the North, but, hey, it's not like he went to auctions or anything, amirite?
I feel dirty even replying to this steaming pile. "Only one of them was a slaves-buyer!" You should feel bad.
