Billionaire* not paying taxes who claims to be the voice of poor people who do is beyond absurd, especially when his tax plan involves slashing taxes for the wealthy
buffett is right when he says its absurd that he pays a lower rate of tax than his secretary, but i dont expect him to cut a check to the treasury to redress the balance. i dont have the foggiest when it comes to tax law, maybe there are good reasons that real estate developers can end up paying very little/no tax. if not, blame the lawmakers
and yes drumpf claiming to be the voice of poor people is the dumbest thing ever for a trillion reasons but imo careful tax planning isnt high on the list. pillorying him for this is just opening the door to claims of hypocrisy when someone produces a long list of liberal politicians and leading liberal figures doing similar stuff. imo this is just something that standard wealthy people do, and since drumpf is way, way, way more obscene and disgusting than garden variety wealthy person for endless reasons, his tax stuff is not a particularly damning indictment on his character. would be like accusing a murderer of littering
not that its an ineffective attack mind, it sure
looks way bad

cliffs: ok its debatably bad but tons of wealthy people also do it, so imo makes more sense to focus on the 10000000000000 awful things which drumpf does that very few other wealthy people would dream of doing b/c they arent awful orange cartoon villains
