Speaking of doubling down, was trying to find the year of Trump's Miss Universe "context" and hit the following FOXNEWS headline:

Miss Universe Alicia Machado accused of threatening to kill judge in late '90s

Lol at Thinman's line here, I don't have the details and can't be bothered to find them so the only reasonable thing to do is ignore everything!

No, it's bad. It's obviously legal, but it's bad

Billionaire* not paying taxes who claims to be the voice of poor people who do is beyond absurd, especially when his tax plan involves slashing taxes for the wealthy

If they are able to put forth records and countless witnesses with the same story demonstrating such then you should acknowledge that it is likely true:

Mighty generous of you to assume anything Trump does is "obviously legal." Public review of the Trump Foundation tax records have already revealed one blatant violation of the law that he has paid a fine for and numerous other potential violations. And those are tiny potatoes compared to his personal tax returns.

i'd rather have someone refuse to shake my hand, telling me they don't know where it has been, over someone who will shake it and then go take a bath in purell and mumble to themselves how gross that was.

you realize trump is just pandering to the most gullible people in america right? he's doing exactly the opposite of what you think he's doing.

Purell, which is made by GOJO Industries of Akron, Ohio, came on the market as a consumer product in 1997 and became popular in campaign vans, holding rooms and traveling bags in the 2000 campaign. Donald Trump, the billionaire germophobe who contemplated running for president, even distributed little bottles of it to reporters.

“One of the curses of American society is the simple act of shaking hands,” Mr. Trump wrote in his book “Comeback.” “I happen to be a clean-hands freak.”

buffett is right when he says its absurd that he pays a lower rate of tax than his secretary, but i dont expect him to cut a check to the treasury to redress the balance. i dont have the foggiest when it comes to tax law, maybe there are good reasons that real estate developers can end up paying very little/no tax. if not, blame the lawmakers

and yes drumpf claiming to be the voice of poor people is the dumbest thing ever for a trillion reasons but imo careful tax planning isnt high on the list. pillorying him for this is just opening the door to claims of hypocrisy when someone produces a long list of liberal politicians and leading liberal figures doing similar stuff. imo this is just something that standard wealthy people do, and since drumpf is way, way, way more obscene and disgusting than garden variety wealthy person for endless reasons, his tax stuff is not a particularly damning indictment on his character. would be like accusing a murderer of littering

not that its an ineffective attack mind, it sure looks way bad

cliffs: ok its debatably bad but tons of wealthy people also do it, so imo makes more sense to focus on the 10000000000000 awful things which drumpf does that very few other wealthy people would dream of doing b/c they arent awful orange cartoon villains

I mean, the dude himself has admitted that he ****s over people with whom he enters into contracts, calling it "good business", and you still don't believe that he does it.
