Triumph for someone who likes to occasionally draw hard lines in the sand for things that really don't matter, you are weirdly interested and opposed to my protest.

re: SE FAQ, Liveblog, Foodblog, and Forum Discussion
I know your thread wasn't meant seriously, or at least I hope not. But these "challenge" threads or "survivor" threads have no place in SE. I'm pretty confident that after the last fiasco we had with this it was agreed that they wouldn't be allowed.
I'm very conservative about deleting posts/threads/banning users. Actually I'd like to think I'm one of the the most hands-off mods there are. But if something is clearly wrong I'll get rid of it.

re: SE FAQ, Liveblog, Foodblog, and Forum Discussion
I agree they have no place in SE. I was the one who completely randomly had two threads started about him being "challenged" if you forgot.
It would be nice if I could have a 30 post silly rebuttal thread without it getting nuked and it getting the standard lock. That way I could PM it to Rafiki along with a gif of HHH doing the suck it motion.

I'm obviously not a believer in "eye for an eye" philosophy.

wait, really? you're right about the first part, but i don't understand how that negates the second part; it probably enhances it.
mostly it's a product of boredom and i'll be out in 10 minutes anyway. but yeah, i don't really think i'm going to cowed by your pointing out how irrelevant my protest to your protest is.

All good for now. But I'll just say that those posts are not allowed on 2+2 and people need to stop posting swears inside pics and gifs.

Side bar: I had no idea that was even against the rules. That was an awesome gif and she wasn't exposing herself.

That was me. Reason being that it was his second retarded thread start of the day. The first one was locked, so it made sense to nuke the second one as he had exceeded his retarded thread quota for the day. FWIW if a thread is knowingly terrible I don't see the difference between locking it and deleting it. If deleted then it doesn't clog the front page with its awfulness.
I'd still like to find out the backstory about this .gif which was posted in that thread:

i've read various things about that -- from what i can see, it was a celebrity baseball game in korea, and jumping up and down on one foot like that is a reference to the korean children's game of "chicken" -- where you hop up and down on one foot while holding the other, trying to knock over your opponent and keep your balance at the same time

A video clip depicting a rather mysterious Korean baseball fight has been popular viewing recently on Internet sites like YouTube and Digg. The clip, narrated in Korean, shows a batter charging the mound after being hit in the arm by a pitch. But, before he can tackle the pitcher, the batter stops short and starts hopping around and holding one leg. The pitcher also starts hopping around, which precipitates a bench-clearing binge of mass hopping. It turns out, the hopping altercation was staged as a parody of baseball brawls and was part of a celebrity baseball game in Korea.
