This is a great idea. Keep the general sports events stuff on this forum, kick the team stuff to another. Not everyone cares to see a 50 page thread about team XYZ.

What would this look like?

Would there be a Baseball forum, just as there is a Golf forum? Or, would there be a MLB Teams Forum?

If we have a MLB Teams Forum, that's Ok. But, there may be a downside to this. Some folks, including me, may not even bother with the Sporting Events forum for weeks at a time. I'm here for baseball this time of year, but may read or contribute to other threads if they interest me, but I probably won't notice them if there becomes a MLB Teams Forum.

Also, where would the AL Central forum go?

I think this was already made clear, but it is Team Specific Season Threads. Divisions/conferences/etc will stay in main forum.

Are we talking each team having its own forum? Or having a subforum that houses all of the team specific threads?

The former is awful. The latter seems to be unnecessary, but I don't have an opinion either way.
