1. No posting links to illegal/pirated/unpaid for video streams. This includes NFL, UFC, etc. This is 2+2 policy so there's nothing to be done about it.

re: SE FAQ, Liveblog, Foodblog, and Forum Discussion
I think that we need some more random CFB threads, we are really lacking in that department lately.

re: SE FAQ, Liveblog, Foodblog, and Forum Discussion
Part of the problem of course is that right now is probably the busiest time of the year, period: end of the NFL season and upcoming playoffs, CFB having rivalry weeks and upcoming bowl games, NBA and NHL in full swing (while these aren't huge on this forum there are probably ten NBA team season threads actively competing for space), and now NCAA basketball has started. It's a lot of competition for front page thread space - too bad the number of threads can't be expanded - and then there are a bunch of threads that aren't really clear whether they are any good or not, like "Alabama or Florida", or that can't or shouldn't be discussed in catch-all threads. Complicated times, these.
I think there was briefly awhile back some discussion of breaking off football - presumably both NFL and CFB - because of its popularity, but I don't like that because in the offseason it's not much of a forum hog and I think it takes too many eyeballs off the main forum. I'd almost certainly support moving any and all fantasy content to a subforum though, since people who don't play them find those discussions annoying and it's almost certainly not likely to siphon off any regular posters for good. An additional benefit is that there would probably be a lot more fantasy discussion since it has a forum of its own in which to "breathe".

How about a combined soccer and motorsports subforum so that I wouldn't have to bother sifting through most of the **** that doesn't interest me?

If you want to make front page thread space start with cutting the fat that is unneeded stickies.
Stickies should be for threads that need to be read by all.
There really isn't a need for the NBA team ranking thread or the Modern NFL draft thread to be stickies.
Those threads are very interesting to a relatively small core group that post in them, they don't need to be stickied like they're required reading. Let those people find and bump them like any other thread. They can rise and fall as their interest level merits.

I think its been great for ease of forum readability that people are starting most thread titles with NBA, NFL, MLB, NASCAR or simple team names.

I'm not sure why that deserves a sticky but the NBA thread doesn't.
