In all seriousness, we should've perma'd Jetto a long time ago back when it started. A few bans for trolling and we stopped after that because there was no clear-cut rulebreaking as opposed to making the obvious judgment call.. Was a mistake.

That said, there's too many obvious trolls slipped in between his normal posts (example, the Lakers/Spurs/Knicks shoes post the other day). Coupled with bizarre edits like the ninja edit I saw this morning in the Heat/Celtics thread it's pretty clear that he's carefully crafting those LDO posts of his.

More seriously, the group defense of a poster who is, at best, the dimmest kid in the class with a signal:noise ratio of 0% even if he doesn't technically break rules (though he did namecall the other day but I let that slide as any ban of Jetto by me would have been more drama than I cared to deal with) is bizarre and simply a random "stand against authority".

Well Clark just lied about Jetto's posts being reported so there's really no reason to believe he or tuq have any proof Jetto is someone's gimmick. This is a pure framing.

Whether he's banned or not, I just want to know who is behind the Jetto gimmick.

Maybe Jetto has just become a self-aware parody of himself. We'd need 2/3rds of Triumph, Pudge, and Nath to confirm though.

It's not like it's just a group of NBA posters who like to challenge authority. A bunch of people from random threads have called Jetto harmless in the last couple pages.

The people who actually follow NBA threads mostly seem to take issue with your constant trolling of him, which is the same criticism that was brought up the last time this came up.

The last couple pages in this thread are full of people saying that the ban is dumb, Jetto is harmless, etc. Bobbo is the one person who said he thinks he should be banned.

Frankly, it just underscores the point: people who take this **** way too seriously are the ones who think Jetto is an issue
