Pretty sure Preston is there just for Knight to make fun of for a few weeks until they get thrown in to the Jungle to be punching bags for when one of the big teams gets automatically thrown in.

Knight had to hear "Rivals" look at the cast and just resign himself to the fact that he's making zero money this season. His best play is to just start picking fights with Zach or CT to try to get set up for Rivals 3.

BAD EFFORT GUYS

Finally watched the first episode. I haven't seen the last few Real World seasons, so some of these people are new to me.

Observations:

- CT is obviously the GOAT, but I imagine he'll fulfill his Romo-esque destiny of kicking butt for the first three quarters, then shooting himself in the foot when it counts

- It's only a matter of time before Preston starts ending up in the jungle, and he better pray for lots of brain-based challenges

- I feel like Zach is going to stay on the sidelines for a few challenges, then going ultra-alpha to begin taking out other strong competitors. That dude is a beast.

- Time has not been kind to Trishelle

- Johnny Bananas has enough allies on the girl's side to stay in this until the end

- Poor choices for every male-based team that had the bigger guy jumping

- CT will likely start incorporating threesomes to more rapidly develop female allies

- I applaud MTV for allowing one-handed guy on the show, but he is screwed (and his partner must be hating it)

- Most of the girls in this challenge seem replacement level at best

they're not CT/Wes or Zach/Trey but after those they're definitely one of the most athletic teams. Jordan (one-hand) played baseball and football during HS in Oklahoma and is now a professional wakeboarder (wat?), and Marlon played football at Texas Tech. MTV's not going to be making him thumb wrestle or anything.

Jordan turning into a gigantic douche when he drinks and Marlon being a bitch sometimes are much bigger liabilities.

CHALLENGE has to get better ratings than Real World at this point, right? If so, they need to step up their RW recruitment and bring in some female athletes. This show would be way better if there were some more amazons to challenge Emily/EV/Laurel. Em's just gonna roflstomp this entire game. That'll be entertaining in itself, I guess, but I think max entertainment comes from having 6-8 solid athletes and then the other half being humorous jobbers.

Your hard-on for Camila continues to baffle. Take away the bolt-ons (i.e. her before this challenge) and you have an unimpressive body with a rat face and a nonexistent personality. Not a bad personality per se, just completely unremarkable.

Although it's absolutely correct that this is a particularly woeful cast of women because there aren't even many others I'd put in front of her. We are treated to cows like Aneesa*, crack whores like Jonna, and incredibly annoying broads like Jessica, who is going to hate that she can't make the challenge all about her. We need more Emilys but I guess the ones who make fewer ******ed life choices make for less interesting TV.

Hey, at least we don't have Sam this time around so we should count our blessings. Sam - a chick built like a mailbox with **** stuck in her face who can barely walk up a hill without stopping every ten feet. The only thing good about her was the comic relief of Frank and Zach riding her like a rented mule nonstop.

* Aneesa being the jumper - onto Diem - was a baffling choice. The flabby person leaping on to the chick half her size was a strategy destined to fail early.

I'm pretty sure his "handicap" isn't nearly as severe as you seem to think it is. Having seen much of the season he was just on - still have no idea why I watched - it didn't limit him physically in any noticeable way.

As also has been noted, they won't win but not because of that. It's because Marlon is a huge pussy.
