Yeah, the show gets like a .7-.8 rating or something. I mean, the MTV Challenge Twitter official account only has 80k followers or something. The huge majority of people have zero clue who Bannans is.

Sarah pod was pretty boring.

Susie sucks. She sucked on the show too. Man she is annoying.

Bananas pod confirmed way better thanks to him thinking he is a real pro athlete and celebrity.

Well never seen a realty show rigged to give one person a quarter of a million dollars. Give him the best partner, give him his cousin, give him a bunch of challenges in the final where a guy has an advantage over a girl. Congrats John. All those years making friends with the producers really paid off.

Like at this point JOHN is just bad for the show. They've lost all the other heavy hitters who can stand up to him. Wes is a shell of himself, as well as Abram and CT, Kenny, Landon are all done with the show. It looked like Halfhand was gonna be a fun foil to JOHN but then he quit the CHALLENGE.

I'd be happy never seeing JOHN do another season. Build around some of the young talent and do a new Fresh Meat season where the only guys you bring back are Reilly, Tony, Nelson, FRAAAAAAAANK, Devin, and maybe one more of your choosing. Girls side bring back Jenna and honestly besides that the rest of them are utterly replaceable. Cheyenne should never be back, she is terrible TV. At least the non-crazy people need to be snarky *******s who give funny confessionals.

Simmons mentioned that, how the show is watered down.

Bannans actually talked about how the AYTO kids just aren't really conditioned for the challenge. They're conditioned for partying and a dating show, not really the types to succeed in the challenge environment.

As funny as this sounds, I feel like the show kinda needs John now. They just didn't do a good enough job of harnessing the young talent so the pipeline is dry. I bet if he took a season off the ratings would tank. There is just no one else.

John did say he thought Derrick and CT want to comeback. Would be good.

My guess is John will do these things forever.

I said this before, but there looked like some AYTO people from prior seasons that would make good additions, but I have no idea how casting works or why they haven't appeared.

I just think those type of people aren't really bred for the challenges like RW people are.

RW people are psychoanalyzed to death to be on the show, they want people from unique backgrounds, people who are damaged, who always think they're right and are intensely competitive, people who can make compelling storylines (the show probably fails at this since it is so stale, but it is the general idea)

AYTO basically just wants good looking people who like to party.

I really enjoyed most of the AYTOs this season.

She expresses annoyance at both. Susie blames production, but then blames John much more because of the adderall allegations. Just get over it and move on.


Ugh, was excited to listen to the final No Quitters Pod. Ends up being a replay of the Bill Simmons pod as they had John on the entire time. I wonder which of the three was the fluffer before the hour-long group orgy. "Once you're in my alliance, you're with me until the end". Lol, this guy just keeps bringing the great quotes.

If you listened to the Simmons pod, there's no additional content, and much of it is repeated verbatim by Bananas. He probably has notes in front of him on which sick talking points to hit.

No Quitters guys lost a ton of respect in my eyes by just lobbing him softballs the entire time, especially JJ. I guess maybe they had to agree to that to get him on, but it made for a fairly terrible podcast, especially since it was really redundant with Simmons.

I fixed a girl's computer right 3 or 4 weeks in to exes 2. She had a couple episodes of CHALLENGE sitting on her desktop. When she came to pick up the computer, I was really surprised to find out that she was like 22. We had a great talk about CHALLENGE minutiae.

Are there any other interviews on the No Quitters pod? They say they had Nicole on, but not sure I want to hear her talk or anything.

Actually, Nicole was surprisingly intelligent and interesting.

And it's unfortunate that they opted to interview Bannans at the apparent expense of finale discussion. Their hot takes on the finale would have been way more interesting than the interview itself (of which I've only listened to the first ten minutes or so but it seems to be a JOHN slurp-fest). Further, now that they are br0s with JOHN they are probably going to go easy on him from now on, which is a shame because he does and says a lot of stupid **** that deserves to get called out.

This pod is the same as Simmons. It really is amazing how he talks about himself and Sarah like they are Brady and Manning and the entire internet is in this huge debate over which side is the right 1 to back.

I wonder if this is indicative of all celebrity now in a way, because of social media you just have people constantly tweeting at you and you can see all the discussion about you that you sortof get a distorted view of how significant you are.

I really don't think he understands how niche this show is.

I'm sure most of it has to do with the fact that he is just a delusional a-hole but still...

The Nicole interview was pretty entertaining. The guys gave her some crap, and she handled it well, while still having fun. That's why the pod is so enjoyable.

The John ep was terrible because all they did was bow down and kiss the ring for a hour. I'm sure it would have been good if it had the same tone as the Nicole interview. It's amazing that they admitted to listening to the Simmons interview, yet decided to make it identical to it. In each previous ep, they would spend 5 minutes ripping on Vince, but during the interview you could hear the main guy afraid to bring up #VinceFail. Like Tuq mentioned, having this stupid interview prevented us from having a normal pod about the finale, which I'm sure would have been great.
