Yea, if he were facing a better mover he would've been shutout.

He might be pretty good vs a non mover, I guess we'll see in his next fight because no way they put him in there again with another Fox type fighter, he could've easily stole that if he had a little more success on the jab. A bunch of close but clear Ergashev rounds, I had it 7-3 half watching (had Brant on the other monitor, he is kinda boring you're right, but clear win vs unknown).

Sounded close but clear.

Couldn't bring myself to tune into LSC fight, he just fights such overmatched opponents most of the time. But if he were to fight tougher, he'd probably have 3-4 Ls on his record.

Just a shout out to those UK peeps who don't listen to the Costello and Bunce podcast - it's worth giving it a go.

Bunce isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I think he's a fantastic listen even if you don't agree with everything he says.

Typical Hearn hype job. Same script, different fighters.

Loma is gonna destroy Crolla.

Its going to be another easy victory for Loma. After the Rigo fight, seems like no one can hang with Loma.

If it’s not Mikey or tank Davis no one is particularly interesting for Loma from my POV

And I don’t think either of those are happening any time soon if ever. Best hope might be teofimo Lopez fighting him early next year or something which would be interesting

Too early for Teofimo to fight somebody of Loma's caliber.

Linares was doing all right against Loma early on. Card were actually a split draw going into the 10th round. Hi-Tech isn't invincible but Crolla doesn't have the tools to do anything against Loma.

This weekend got Eubank Jr fighting DeGale and Anthony Dirrell vs. Avni Yildirim. Pretty meh fights. Hype job vs. Burnt out boxer and Superior fighter vs. Some guy who got KTFO by Eubank.

I’m a bit surprised the Eubanks DeGale fight isn’t getting more hype in the UK. Legitimate world class fight (or at least bigger than domestic level) among two brits let alone a true 50/50 bout. I guess it would have been bigger a couple years ago before the losses stacked up. and I get the impression neither guy is particularly well loved both are kind of douchey. Really not sure who to take here I usually have some lean but have no clue here other than a KO seems really unlikely...I guess DeGale is the safer bet until Eubanks actually proves he can beat someone on this level but DeGale looks past it. Might be a dull affair. Close decision either way seems likely

Pretty crap few weeks for boxing. Fight most likely to actually entertain tonight is probably washed Brandon Rios v washed Humberto Soto lol...I cancelled DAZN last weekend so won’t be watching . Stiverme weighed in like 270+ for the Joyce fight betting the early KO seems like free money...hope the Turkish guy somehow starches Dirrell I’m so tired of watching those brothers fight just so bleh every time they are on tv. Uncle Dirrell only entertaining part of the bouts

Don’t think there is anything to write home about until the Spence Garcia PPV and that’s not a fight I’m gonna pay anything for although I’m a sucker so closer it gets to fight night I will undoubtedly convinced myself Mikey has a chance I still fall victim to good promos. April May and June should be pretty good tho

Idk I’m pretty all in on teofimo. I would feel comfortable betting him v Loma if his odds were like +250 or worse. He’s clearly not fought anyone near Loma but I think he’s naturally much bigger and his team has been saying he’s moving up in weight in 2020 for sure so there isn’t a whole lot of time for him to have a couple step up fights unfortunately even tho that would be ideal. Just going with eye test here I think he would have a real shot ...obviously his resume is really crap so I’m probably getting way ahead of myself but goin with my gut that he will keep looking this good

They are obviously pushing Lopez hard into becoming a star on ESPN so I really doubt that fight will happen they prob don’t want to risk his zero as he could be a star eventually but I would love to see it. Sometimes you gotta go with your eye test and Teofimo is my favorite prospect in forever and I don’t think Loma is the generational talent at this weight personally just “merely” the best in the world lol. Belts aside I would have much rather seen Lopez take on Crolla in April than Loma Crolla that is just a boring ass fight with no drama. My dream scenario that seems semi plausible is that Regis Prograis wins the WBSS v Taylor then fights Jose Ramirez or Hooker winner (hoping they fight each other) in a big fight-wins- then we get a huge Prograis Teofimo fight at 140 in late 2020. Not sure the WBSS even finishes and unfortunately not sure how much Prograis stock would even rise considering lack of eyes for that tourney . Pretty sure Prograis is with Dibella I thought ESPN was pushing him for a while but his career has stalled some with this WBSS mess. I think Prograis and Lopez both eventually end up at 147 (Lopez prob not for quite some time)eventually hopefully by then we won’t have a bunch of PBC nonsense holding up big fights for them.

lol Stiverne weighing in at 273

Selby moved up two weight classes to fight some guy I never heard and got cut over both eyes again. Dude's gonna be The British Bleeder from now on. Won by UD though.

Want to see Eubank get KO'd. Probably won't happen. DeGale is shot.

Douglas is a good journeyman he got absolutely robbed by Cherry and lost to Fortuna in a close fight iirc. Sounds like he had Selby in trouble early then Selby won second half of fight. We didn’t get to watch it on showtime in the USA I would have liked to see it. Idk about the weight there I think Douglas moved up to for no reason kind of weird. I still like Selby a fair bit as a fun fighter

Joyce battering stiverne he was lucky it wasn’t stopped in the second I’m surprised stiverne is still standing in the fourth he’s just a fat punching bag

Joyce will be a really fun fighter to watch due to his lack of regard for defense.

Selby/Douglas was close during the first half but Selby pulled away in the second half due to Douglas gassing out.

Yeah he’s 33 I don’t see him doing anything v the big3/Ortiz tier ever (maybe when Ortiz is 60) but him v breazele or something next would be a fight I would like to watch...or polish baby or big baby or any of those guys. Doesn’t have a lot of time to waste at his age although age doesn’t seem as important at heavyweight. Big fight with dillian whyte or something down the line would be good although I feel pretty good favoring whyte. Hard to say until he’s in with someone who can fight back.

Lot of people on twitter seem to be down on Joyce after that fight talking about his slow hand speed and whatnot I thought it was okay performance just kind of a pointless matchup. Get him in with a fringe top 10 guy next like breazele and see if he can sink or swim

Dude was punching in slow motion and seemed to have no interest on sitting on his punches after the first round or two.

I wonder if he was trying to get in some rounds or something like that.

If DeGale gets in a war, he's gonna lose. If he outboxes, he wins by decision.

Pretty remarkable that DeGale didn't get dropped by that uppercut in the 11th. He ain't known for a granite chin either.
