That was a brutal knockout. Lemieux looked excellent imo. I wonder who he fights next.

Hope Stevens is ok.

Damn, what a fight while it lasted. Exceeded the high expectations of the pairing.

Lemieux looked less wild as usual, some better combination work. Would be fun to see him fight anyone at 160.

Kellerman said he looked big and less cut, and I agree, but he performed better than usual too. Wonder how much he blew up post weigh-in.

I believe he had a 7 lb advantage

Ah, so he came in around 175lbs then? I think Stevens was 168 or so.

One thing that was noticeable was Stevens footwork, it was really poor. I once heard someone in boxing say that you can really tell the difference between the footwork of boxers that jump rope and those that do not during training. If that point is true, it looked to me like Stevens jumps zero rope.

Makes GGG seem all the more impressive by absorbing that power like it was nothing. Guy's like a DBZ super villain.

I watched Demetrius Andrade on Saturday night, he looked properly rusty for someone that comes with a big reputation against a limited opponent. Still, he got a decision in Germany, which is no mean feat.

Geeze, he looks awful. I really have no idea what to expect from him when he comes back.

Apparently he has gone from around 25 stone to 18.5 stone more than 20 times over the years. If that's true then no biggie

Is there a concern endurance might be an issue if he comes in that heavy in a longer fight?

It did seem like he was already slowing down and the other guy was coming on. Donno if that was strategic though.

Can't be good for your health, but I guess he's still relatively young.

I wouldn't be surprised if he looked good when he comes back though. Not in an explosive highlight-reel way, but he's big, awkward and must be a ***** to fight.

Talking of Fury's, I see that Parker isn't a huge favourite over H Fury (4/6 & 6/5 in some places but a bit wider elsewhere). This is surprising to me, esp in Auckland. Do we know that H Fury is really all that good?

Hughie like cousin Tyson is awkward, works off his jab and doesn't risk a lot. I could see him winning a decision against Parker.

To be aggressively pushing to tarmac an old person's driveway?

Pretty much what Consty said below. He will have height and reach on Parker and will probably just jab him up for 12 rounds. Hopefully Parker gets inside and really puts it on him to see what he's got

If he fights like that then he'd better do it well to get a decision in NZ though. You are probably right - I actually looked up the odds as I think he's very much live in the fight and was expecting Parker to be a pretty big favourite.

Interesting fight - I just need to remember it's on!

Jacobs refused to take part in the same day weigh in so can no longer win Golovkin's IBF title.
