It'd be pretty funny if Pac loses to Clottey.

Clottey has a legit chance of knocking out Pacquiao. He is the number 5 contender at welterweight. But Pacquiao is a real fighter unlike Floyd the PED user.

1. Pacquiao
2. Mosley
3. Mayweather
4. Cotto
5. Clottey

Notice that Pacquiao has already beaten Cotto. Mosley is unavailable due to an upcoming fight with Berto. Mayweather is obviously out. Pacquiao fights the highest rated welterweight available.

On the other hand, Floyd will be fighting either Mallignagi (who only has 5 KOs out of 30 fights and has major losses to Hatton and Cotto) or Matthew Hatton (brother of Ricky who isn't even in the top 30).

This. If Floyd fights either Mallignagi or Hatton's brother, I will lose total respect for Floyd, and I'm sure most people in the boxing community as well. Floyd's been ducking all the top welterweights. Clottey is a legit welterweight imo and is a High risk/low reward fight for Pacquiao. It goes to show who's the real bitch in this whole fiasco.

Btw, Margarito might fight in the undercard of the Pac-Clottey fight if he gets his license back.

I don't think this is funny, it's possible. Although the casual fan won't know/care Clottey, he's pretty good. I don't know about knocking out Pac, but it may be more competitive than others might think. Clottey has a strong chin, so I don't see Pac winning by TKO/KO. This fight would be going to the scorecards.

Anyone else see how JMM was asking for a 50-50 split and drug testing for a 3rd fight against Pacquiao? Golden Boy is going to try to say that Pacquiao is guilty until proven innocent until he retires. It's crazy how they've been treating him when they share the revenue that Pac brings in with Top Rank.

Just read the first article about Castillo-Mayweather 1 and xylocaine. Didn't Floyd break one of his hands on Hernandez' head? Anyways, Floyd's no cheater, as long as he fights in Vegas...

People said this about Pac/Cotto but Pac won by TKO in the 12th, though it should have been stopped earlier imo

I love manny, but teddy atlas isnt exactly a mayweather fanboy:

Why send an email asking what the penalties are and if a positive test can be kept secret?

^ that's extremely fishy, although doesn't prove anything. I'd like to hear what Pac's camp has to say about that.

Floyd would destroy any welterweight alive. He will beat Manny, possibly destroy him.

And Floyd Mayweather beats women too. What a frickin COWARD!

"In 2004, Mayweather was convicted on two counts of battery for punching two women at a Las Vegas nightclub the previous year. He was given suspended prison sentences, $1,000 in fines and ordered to complete impulse control counseling.

Mayweather in 2002 pleaded guilty to two counts of domestic violence in one case and battery in another. In 2005, a jury acquitted him of a third domestic violence charge, a felony, after his accuser changed her story. He reportedly was convicted of battery in his hometown of Grand Rapids, Mich., and he has also been the subject of civil lawsuits accusing him of battery."

Well that's certainly up to debate. I know one thing for sure, Floyd is boring as hell to watch. Tell me the last time you saw a Mayweather fight, and said, "Wow that was a great fight!" I thought so.

Since 2001, Mayweather has only 7 knockouts in 16 fights. Pacquiao has 17 in 23 fights. Now we saw what Pacquiao did to Cotto and if you watch boxing you would know that Cotto is a much stronger puncher than Floyd. So if you mean "destroy" in a sense that Mayweather will severely hurt Pacquiao, I highly doubt it.

If that's true it doesn't prove in a court of law that Pac is using PED's but it proves it to me.

i enjoyed mayweather vs hatton and mayweather vs zab judah and gatti. I dont think cotto punches much harder than mayweather if at all. mayweather is capable of knocking pac man out for sure.

i think the best of mayweather will come out when someone seriously challenges him, which i feel pac man would do.

yes, pac man's fights tend to be more exciting than mayweather's, but, that does not mean they are better. it depends on what you like. some people admire and appreciate mayweathers brillance in hitting and not getting hit while others love the excitement that pac man brings in standing toe to toe and exchanging punches with the other guy.

i am in awe of mayweather's ability to avoid punches while not moving his feet. most people, fighters included when they sense danger (someone punching at your head) they get out of the way.. ie .. retreat and move their feet. but, mayweather is so good that his feet are stationary and he just moves his upper body an inch or 2 one way or the other. he is a master at defense. most importantly, while he is avoiding punches he remains in a striking position almost always.

i respect pac man's skills but, i think mayweather will beat him.

also, you must understand that the object of boxing is to hit and not get hit and no one in the world is better at that than mayweather.

one more thing... there is a saying in boxing..."styles make fights" you put someone in the ring with mayweather who is an aggressor and can withstand getting hit alot and still challenge him then you will see mayweather in a great fight.

And yet, when we put Floyd in a position to challenge himself against the best, we, for some reason, don't get "mayweather in a great fight".

Other people may have said that about ac/Cotto, but I didn't. Clottey takes a punch better than Cotto. Cotto's been hurt a number times in the past. So it wasn't a surprise that Pac hurt him.

Put him in with Mosley, I'm 100% sure Floyd won't destroy him. He may win against Pac if they ever fight, but I doubt it would be a KO.

Most people who do wrestling or any singular mixed martial art I would classify as potential "mma talent" btw.

If you consider some kid who is 13 taking TKD "MMA talent", then obv you're correct.

Possibly, but we will never know because he won't fight Margarito, Mosely, Cotto, Williams, and Pac.

You'll see his skills again when he fights Matthew Hatton who happens to be ranked 40+ in the welterweight division.

LMAO @ this whole debacle... what a joke boxing has become. Back in the day, if one boxer talked **** about the other, they'd fight. Nowadays it's unreal what an unbelievably horrible sport it is...

People wonder why boxing is dead... the only fight that an average person would give the slightest **** about ends up getting ****ed by promoters and egos.

In MMA, big names actually fight and it's actually not boring to watch.
