If the Giants win is Tom Couglin a HOF'r?

16 seasons, 142-114 and 11-7 in playoffs. Has made playoffs 9 times, 4 conference title games, 2 super bowl appearances, 1 title to this point.

Iirc last time these two teams matched up in the superbowl and I called Brady the GOAT, I bought a whole large pizza to myself, saying I'll eat a slice each time Brady gets a touchdown, I didn't even eat a piece until the 2nd quarter and eventually had to eat a cold pizza by the end of the game.

Go g-men IMO.

I'm mainly worried about Brady coming out in assassin mode and blowing the game open early.

If we can prevent that from happening then I like our chances. Should be a great game.

Re: SB XLVI New England Patriots vs. New York Giants: THE G.O.A.T. vs ELITE

I'm pretty psyched game is in a dome.

my impression is that the Giants rushers are not pure undersized/speed guys in the mold of Freeney/Mathis - guys who really incrementally benefit the most from playing on the fast surface. They do benefit a bit I think.

I could be wrong about this, I honestly don't watch the Giants too much.

the bigger edge goes to the passing offenses. Brady's dome #'s are actually a ton better than his outdoor #'s. Eli's are too (as are almost everyones), but not to the same extent.

these are career numbers, Y/A

Brady indoors: 8.4
Brady outdoors: 7.4

Eli indoors: 7.3
Eli outdoors: 7.0

well yeah but didn't brady get to play the AIDS colts defense indoors all the time (or at least they were terrible when bob sanders was hurt)

well, this accounts for maybe 4/14 games ish prob. but, the Colts defense at home was not that horrible for some of those. like 2007, @ Indy was one of the worst games the offense had.

Even if that happens and the Pats get a 21-3 1st half lead, it's def not insurmountable with Eli throwing against the Pats secondary.

I think so long as Eli doesn't throw multiple picks it will prob be reasonably close.
