I think everyone is in agreement that the catch wasnt easy. But ur number 1 reciever should catch that pass every time. Especially one as reliable as Welker.

First of all, Patriots sitting in Cover-2 for as long as they did and then allowing Manningham with a free outside release on that play is one of the most ridiculous and absurd things I have seen in an NFL game.

Giants deciding to go 3 deep invert against Brady is almost as stupid. Giants CB ****s himself and bites on the WR route and lets Welker behind him. Difference between the two plays is that Manning made the throw, Brady almost made the throw.

Justin Tuck was now "robbed" of two SuperBowl MVPs. I'm not upset over Eli getting it, I think it makes more sense this time than last time. But Justin Tuck played the single best game out of anyone on either side of the ball. Outside leverage rushes, inside rushes, in on rush plays, forced Brady to move around in the Pocket, ect. Honestly, his game was absurd. I can't wait to rewatch it. Outside of the QB position if I had to select one player to play in a game for me in the Super Bowl, Justin Tuck is right at the top. 4(5) sacks in two superbowls, number of pressures, and just overall making his opponent look silly.

Sebastian Vollmer played maybe the worst game. This has a lot to do with having some amazing guys lined up across from him but holy ****. Come on man. I'm pretty sure I heard people on this forum call you a top 3 or 4 LT in the NFL. Ouch.

Giants desperately need William Beatty next season. Hey David Diehl. Good try man. You did what the Giants needed but Beatty is a necessity for Eli and the Giants. Diehl should be inside and the Giants need to find a RT and use McKenzie as a 6th player.

Gronkowski, get off the ****ing field. That was embarrassing. No moves off the line, looked slow on routes, and failed at being the trail man on the Hail Mary. Seriously, get off the field. That was pure awful. Giants didn't even fall for him being a decoy. Probably because they have eyes and had someone watch pregame.

Coughlin...I ****ing hate you.

Madonna, uhhh....sure? I don't want a 54 year old running around. I want them to Faith hill it.

Clint Eastwood commercial was sweet, liked Eminem's better.

I will never again watch a superbowl with anyone. I will watch it by myself so that I can enjoy it the way I enjoy watching football...sitting down analyzing it for no good reason.

Brian Baker was incredibly awesome at the clinic I attended. Demarcus Ware is a monster beyond understanding and my respect for Ware went up two fold. Cowboys got a good DL coach there, wish him the best going forward.

I still ****ing hate Coughlin.
100% spot on analysis.

lol@the loss is in no way welkers fault
it is in fact in large part his fault, not ALL his fault

also i know that play happened on 2nd down, which makes it less bad than if it happened on 3rd down, but it still drastically reduced the pats chances of winning the game

women of gisele's stature, with cameras around her her whole life, know exactly wtf she is saying when in front of anyone. absolutely not in question at all. she got emotional and let loose. it will be interesting to see if this pisses tom off.

danny woodhead suffers the most since he would have been the MVP, but there was a glitch in the patriots random white WR matrix

Re: SB XLVI New England Patriots vs. New York Giants: THE G.O.A.T. vs ELITE

I think the biggest play of the game was the safety. I thought the Patriots lost the game on the play. Here's why.

It showed how scared Brady is of taking a hit. He didn't scramble, instead he just made a bone headed play. Its a play that Bret Farve and Tebow must just laugh at. It showed his teammates that he was there to hopefully win. Not do everything in his power to win the biggest game of their lives. It shows Brady can beat average teams in the regular season when you just throw the ball away. Put him in a big game and he's not willing to put it all on the line. This was not John Elway taking a leaping helicopter hit to win because he wanted it more then anyone else on the field. This was Tom Brady putting on his skirt and hoping no one would notice the pile of poo in his panties.

This play told his teammates that he was not willing to put it on the line. That type of thinking is contagious. You make horrible plays like this and you wide receivers start dropping balls.

Are you kidding me? I'll just say this. If Welker makes ONE CATCH of a very catchable ball, none of what you say here is thought of in your mind or anyone else's. If that's the case, none of what you say can even approach being in the same vicinity of being close to the truth.

My lord I sometimes can't believe the way some people's minds work.

Or your trolling.

The suggestions Brady is soft is so absurd.. ffs he's had an injured shoulder for 95% of his career -- just check the injury report.

i really think people hating on welker and not brady (looking at you, mrs. brady) are really off base.
welker ran the wrong route. he should cut away from the safety to all that wide open green. right where brady was throwing it. in fact, if you replay it, brady is delivering the ball before welker has made his break. welker ochoed the route.

He isn't soft, but it pretty obvious to me that since his season ending injury, he is skittish about taking hits. I say he's not soft because I'm sure it happens at a subconscious level.

If I was him, I woulda retired and went home to **** my hot wife.

Brady's toughness is accurately reflected by his hairstyle imo
