Do they even test NFL players? I assume all the teams have their own medical facilities so the chance of anyone that matters would get busted seems very small.

whenever an nfl player gets busted for peds they just claim they took adderall since according to the cba the nfl can't release what substance the player tested positive for, the suspension lengths are the same for all failed tests and most fans consider taking steroids to be a much bigger deal than taking adderall.

in mlb it's obvious because the suspension lengths for adderall and steroids are different.

No, if all the sports actually managed to completely clean up all PED use, specifically anabolic, HGH, and blood doping, then we'd witness a fairly large regression in performance in all sports.

All the sudden the Olympics would be the least entertaining sporting event ever. Oh cool another 10s gold medal winner.

I would not expect to see a substantial drop off in NBA, for example. I doubt guys like Kevin Durant are improving their performance much through PEDS. Kobe, maybe.

Olympic records would continue to be broken, probably not at the same rate/progression they are now though. More emphasis on technique, nutrition, training, etc. I'd much rather see a great athlete using advanced techniques and training methods to excel over some obvious PED guy like Ben Johnson who gets huge muscle mass and crushes Carl Lewis.

Never said Lewis did not use PEDs. He did not have the same muscle mass as Johnson, and excelled more through technique and favorable body structure.

"Everybody" meaning those who want to compete at highest level of course do it because "everybody else" does it. Does not mean records would not continue to be broken if PEDs did not exist.
