19-11 at half time. could be worse. Scotland looking pretty bad in defense but better than expected in attack. England dropped balls in promising positions are keeping us in it.

Good start to the Italy France game. 7-5 to Italy after 11 minutes.

Edit: 10-5 14 mins

I've watched this 10+ times and I still don't understand it. At what point do you decide you're just not going to bother using your hands and pick it up with your heel instead.

No. England play Ireland next week. The Irish win that they've got a great chance of a gs with them having France at home as well.

Think Ireland lose this weekend. Faded badly in the last third of the match yesterday. Being an Irishman myself it's hard to admit but I don't think we have the power to stay 80 minutes against England who seem to have the legs.

Maybe the best opening weekend I can remember. Had a great time at the Wales game. Zebo flick was just outrageous. Superb play from O'Driscoll to set up the first try. Next Sunday is going to be brilliant. Ireland with a slight edge at home but its going to be tough as hell.

Also LOL France, Orquera GOAT, Italy for the Grand Slam.

Before play yesterday the going odds for Scotland to win the grand slam were 33 to one and 200 to one for Italy. Anyone know how they come up with these numbers? Is this just the result of a weird algorithm?

To win the championship or get a grand slam?

200/1 seems very short for Italy to win a GS.

It could of been the championship, it just seems like a massive gap between too fairly similar teams. If anything i'd say Italy might be slightly stronger (i'm not looking forward to the match today at any rate).

Should be ok but would expect it to be low scoring and dour.

Italy never as good away.
