New Zealand are barely better than Ireland at cricket and we've been playing it for about 5-6 years.

I assume you are joking if not then you are the joke

Ireland just lost 3 straight games against NZ provincial sides. Canterbury put up 382/6 against them in a one day match and Northen districts bowled them out for 153 lol

Lol England, couldn't even get it done with one of the worst refereeing displays of all time.

Lol Ireland, stick to your irrelevant sports no one cares about.

Lol @ a NZer liking England. Catch a ****ing grip.

What about those NZ cricketers fixing matches? Dodgy characters those Kiwis.

Aidan and bumpnrun disprove the idea that convicts and Kiwis are very different.

They are also second GOAT at netball, reasonably talented at cricket despite the population disadvantage and lack of money in the game, and far GOATier at rugby league than England, the UK, or any other team outside of Australia (and they beat us a decent % of the time as well)

Are they good at Sailing?

The New Zealand hate is so lol, they (we) have almost 4 times as many Summer Olympic medals as the mighty (lol) Ireland in only 2 more appearances 99 vs 28.
GOAT in Rugby and Elilte at League, Netball, Cricket, Sailing, Rowing etc.
We also came 4th in the Fiba World Cup (basketball) in 2002 btw which was ahead of the USA but whatever, how is the Irish B-Ball team going lol

Sailing isn't a sport. But yah kiwi sailors are recognized best.

Also NZ is basically GOAT at rowing. And currently easily the best at *ahem* wimminz shotput.

Saying rugby is our only sport is a myth. We lose a heap of potential rugby athletes to football , league ... Even basketball is very popular here

On point .... We crush at a game which is played by loads of countries including aussie

And Ireland are soft lads who have somehow NEVER beaten us

Don't think many are hating on NZ. I love their rugby team. Whoever the guy was that started mouthing about Ireland has the issues.

GOAT in Softball too won 4 out of the last 5 world championships

EDIT: It is pretty funny how NZers including me come out of nowhere to defend NZ by quoting every sport we can think of that we win at

Ireland reaching the World Cup Quarter-Final in 1990 is a bigger accomplishment than the history of New Zealand sport.

Sailing, Netball, Softball aside of course.

That sort of thinking shows why Ireland suck so much at everything

Stiff Little Fingers had it right when they sang "anything floors them if they can't fight or drink it"

Breaking the world record in the Mile (done by 3 differnet NZers) is pretty important imo

Running is a reasonably common sport undertaken around the world and the mile is historically one of the most common distances people have competed over.

Just because I want to be clear about this. In this page or aids, netball credentials were used as a sporting brag twice?

And running!

They werent mentioned as brags, just counters to the clearly jealous assertions that rugby is all NZ is good at.

Well thank god that is sorted. People will no longer be jealous of their rugby team because they have also produced a couple of people that can run a mile at decent speed in the past

Pretty sure being the best in the world at something is enough of a brag to avoid the inferiority complex. I wish WALES were the best at something.
