The league team do it to England yesterday and now the union team do it to Ireland. Sick WIM from NZ rugby.

Wales Australia has been amazing so far. Being played at a crazy pace. No scrums (?) in the first half.

Holy **** that was a breathtaking half of rugby. Where the **** has this Aussie team come from? They are playing some amazing stuff attacking wise. Folau is impossible and I mean impossible to defend 1 v 1. His step is just ridiculous, can't remember seeing anyone like that ever before.

Aussies to crush in 2nd half, Wales will tire.

Should be a great finish. Welsh with a bet on Aus. All good.

sigh, soulcrushing game

Wish i understood the rules for forward pass. The game winning try, the ball is thrown from behind the 5 metre line and is caught in front yet isn't forward

Massive lolPriestland for kicking the ball away at the end, way to just give up the game, I guess thats why you no longer start

Its pretty simple (in a way ), if the hands are going forward then its a forward pass. Most passes are made on the run and flat/lateral passes are always going to look forward because of the momentum of the player. Benefit of the doubt is always going to go to the attacking side and rightfully so. Im actually not a fan of going back and looking at a forward pass via the TV official. Officials are usually pretty good at seeing it in real time.

It was a cracking game and a great advert for Test rugby. Little bit of needle in there as well all game which was great. You can clearly see what an idiot Mike Phillips is though and why he gets in so much bother on and off the field. Dude is just brainless.

Six Nations should be pretty epic, just hope the teams stay relatively healthy. Hate seeing the great players miss out.

Also George North is amazing.

Mike is amazing. Any time there is some sort of commotion on the field, he is at the centre of it trying to scrap with the biggest guy on the other team. Amazing moment when he knocked Cooper over, then stared him down and stuck his tongue out, while being driven back by another aussie lol

He he. Just had a huge argument with my dad about that try.

My line is it was incredibly marginal, it doesn't matter that the ball has clearly gone forwards (direction of hands) and they've gone with the attacking side.

It ended up with him calling me English. Harsh. :-)

It was made more frustrating when North was called fora forward pass about 5 minutes later, despite that pass going lateral on the replay

Connacht beat Toulouse away

120k blown at 1.01 on betfair. First Toulouse loss at home in HC in 6 years (read that somewhere else dunno if that's true myself).

Think I'll have to enjoy a few pints in Galway tonight as a total bandwagon rugby fan

So much WIM from Ulster especially those scrums in the last 5-10 mins. Pienaar was a completely different class tonight. #SUFTUM

You were lucky that the first two were reset instead of you being penalised for wheeling the scrum but you had us in trouble in each of the last three. Certainly can't begrudge you the win and home QF given how you've played against us in the two games. A fantastic defensive display, especially after you nudged ahead. Some great kicking as well (an area we could take some pointers from you on).

If we don't beat Clermont/Toulon will certainly be pulling for you guys to win it.

9-9 at half time in the match between England and NZ. All Blacks somewhat lucky it is that close, too many individual errors. Nonu should be shot if he kicks again.

Im a kiwi and im embarrassed by that. ABs commit two obvious pro fouls and get away with both. England snap sin binned for theres. And whats with all the weird knock on calls against England? They so deserved to win

Be lots of angry white shirts in town tonight. Think ill stay in lol

Hard to beat a bit of test match rugby early in the morning.

Loved Kruden ignoring the 3 and going for a quick tap.

When it was 9-9 and England got the pen to go 12-9 ahead I thought they should have went for the scrum. They were demolishing NZ in that department at that stage.

Great performance overall from England tho and they have reinforcements coming in for next week.
