Its pretty simple (in a way
), if the hands are going forward then its a forward pass. Most passes are made on the run and flat/lateral passes are always going to look forward because of the momentum of the player. Benefit of the doubt is always going to go to the attacking side and rightfully so. Im actually not a fan of going back and looking at a forward pass via the TV official. Officials are usually pretty good at seeing it in real time.
It was a cracking game and a great advert for Test rugby. Little bit of needle in there as well all game which was great. You can clearly see what an idiot Mike Phillips is though and why he gets in so much bother on and off the field. Dude is just brainless.
Six Nations should be pretty epic, just hope the teams stay relatively healthy. Hate seeing the great players miss out.
Also George North is amazing.
