Not really. Not every homicide was committed by a current or former intimate partner, and I'd be surprised if even a small percentage of homicides were wrongly classified as accidental injuries.

It's definitely a problem, but I'll trust a government agency over the Africana department of a women's studies program, which has a vested interest in exaggerating said problem.
