euro championships start tomorrow, on itv4 so probably get the awful views of alan warriner. the market:
sixfour expert analysis:
newton/white - white 5/6 - newton's been crap all year and white's won 15 grand more than him this season. if anything after the matchplay he's been even worse. white doesn't have the distraction of next week's masters either as the pdc's joke of a ranking system let barney in through the back door
van der voort/wagner - no bet - vvdv should be a big favourite and has a tour win this season, but that's a bit too short to back. wagner's beaten some decent players to get here so it's not an auto win
rodriguez/thornton - no bet - line looks right. thornton's much better and more consistent but the austrian kid gets there in a short race often enough
caven/suljovic - suljovic 13/8 - caven's form from earlier this year has disappeared, and suljovic is very dangerous, especially over a short format
dolan/smith - no bet - i might have been tempted to bet dolan if he'd done anything outside of ireland this year, but he hasn't, so i won't.
chisnall/artut - artut 7/2 - artut made the semi of a pro tour event last sunday and is in form, chisnall should win but hasn't been playing well enough to take this 75%+ of the time. plus artut made me a packet when he put mardle out of the first round of the worlds a few years back so i trust the guy
winstanley/k huybrechts - huybrechts 4/5 - purely on extremely recent form. winstanley's been very consistent this season, which is why he's here, but he bricked the two pro tour events last weekend whereas kim went deep in both of them
kist/king - king 4/7 - king's won a euro event recently and should have a bit too much for kist
wright/van de pas - no bet - there's an arb here, so just have a tiny free roll on van de pas. line looks right
hamilton/bunting - bunting 4/7 - hamilton won the first tour event of the year and has done **** all since. bunting meanwhile semi'd a major this month
anderson/jenkins - anderson 5/11 - anderson's just that much better than jenkins at this stage
wade/r huybrecths - no bet - wade's in red hot form but that's too short, ronny's been quiet but can nick something in a short format occasionally
lewis/klaasen - no bet - lewis might be a touch rusty having not played that many tour events so won't bet him, despite klaasen not having kicked on from a good 2013 season
van gerwen/pipe - pipe 4/1 - another daft short format punt. pipe beat mvg in a tour final earlier this month, so it can happen
taylor/beaton - no bet - beaton can win this but probably won't enough to take a flyer
whitlock/barneveld - whitlock 10/11 - have little confidence in either but will go with the higher rated player in an effective coin flip, think there's enough "barney can't be arsed" equity here, plus whitlock has course and distance form, defending a win from 2012
