I still can't tell and tbh of had to guess would say EBH won but it would just be a guess.

6mm difference

Camera has 10 000 pics per second. I think it's pretty accurate

Today was Kittels 12 Tour stage win, which equals erik zabels record, whos birthday was today. The irony also on the weekend team sky will show how to build a real train, maybe the sprinter teams can learn something

Anyone here think that Kittel can break Cav's record of 30 stage wins? On the one hand, he's already 29. Otoh, he's still younger than his closest competition, except Gaviria (who he doesn't have to worry about for a few years).

Is Cav's a record? Wiki says Eddy Merckx has 34.

Would you say you think he gets 20 stage wins? O/U?

It's an unofficial record. Cav has the most sprint wins/non-TT wins.

I would bet yes for 20. No for 25.

I think he can't match Cavs record. Younger competition will probably usurp him in the next few years.

He has still 5 stages this year where he can win and i guess somewhere between 7-9 stages for the next 3 years (32 years old) until he is no longer the absolut best sprinter and then still 4 years where he can win 1-2 stages just like greipel does atm. So it is like 12+3 of 5+ (5 of 9)* 3 + 1,5*4 thats a maximum of 36 when he sun runs in reality with illnes and maybe gavira becoming way stronger than him, it will be like 25. Dont forget that he will likely go to katusha and build a really good train with martin and zabel. Way easier to win with a train then what he has to do now.

Great stage yesterday, hopefully some fireworks today too.

Hope Froome doesn't descend like a boss and steal 30seconds from everyone

Too many climbs today, I don't see anything explosive happening. Maybe an attack on the descent but dont see much in way of attacks going uphill.

Is this the stage where Froome buries his rivals? Stage looks made for him. Could see a lot of riders dropping off

Froome signals for a technician, and the bloke in the green jersey attacks immediately. Not a good look lol

looks like this year's plan from the other "contenders" is the same as last...get behind froome in the standings and then ride his back wheel to certain defeat. very exciting for all of the fans.
