Re: Peyton Manning landing spot thread.....

What could Denver realistically get from Jacksonville in a Tebow trade? I tend to think they'd get a nice haul of picks.

Re: Peyton Manning landing spot thread.....

I was on the Tebow bandwagon as much as anyone but i dont see how Denver are an easy path to the superbowl for peyton. They had something to move forward with and had alot of cap room to make additions to the time and now they are prob gonna max out the cap for 2-3 years of peyton.

Obviously peyton is one of the greatest ever but i really dont see him at denver making alot of sense for either.

Re: Peyton Manning landing spot thread.....

Signing Peyton and trading Tebow makes perfect sense for Denver, and for the story of Tebow. He had his moment as the twelve-year-old teaching the elders in the Temple (the playoff run with Denver), now he's going to fade into obscurity for a while (Jacksonville) before coming back as the preacher and philosopher who changed the world and inspired the faith of millions (???).

Why would Denver trade Tebow? Sign Manning and keep Tebow. He's a cheap backup. This gives him time to learn from on of the GOAT. It looks to me like it might be the best thing that could happen to Tebow.

Von Miller GOAT tho

If the Broncos get Peyton and sign a WR, they should crush the west

It gives Elway and Fox an easy out to get Tebow out of town. They have no faith (heh heh) in his future as a QB and obviously don't want to have to fade the inevitable future heat of the fans insisting that he play.

are you dumb? I mean do you realize how different of an offense those two would run? Itd be pointless to keep tebow. Not to mention tebow might garner some draft picks thatd vbe worth something, Jacksonvilles got to be waiting...

The QB that Tebow reminds me of is Steve Young. It would be just like Young learning behind Montana in SF. I think, 2 years behind Manning is exactly what Tebow needs.

Re: Peyton Manning landing spot thread.....

Can Peyton and Fox coexist in Denver? Fox's playcalling and decision making would probably anger Peyton so much. 4th and 1, Fox would never go for it and Peyton would want to everytime.
