look at this #'s progression from
2004 through 2011. lots of #'s are in a slow but steady decline. and he's 36 now. during his last healthy season there were plenty of things being written about him, that his arm wasn't quite what it was, he wasn't the same guy, etc. sure his team had gotten worse - but his #'s were a good bit worse 2011 vs peak years
throw in the 4 neck surgeries and the fact that he still isn't 100% despite lengthy rehab (admitted so today) I think people are wildly overestimating the Peyton that plays in 2012 (if he plays at all)
