I mean you can kinda sorta understand the Paterno stuff in the video (I made it 36 seconds) simply because the emails clearly hadn't been released at the time it was made.

But- "not a Penn St. scandal"- the very first thing that came out about this, IIRC, was the arrest of the admins. That's just a really disturbing level of rationalization/idiocy/FROM ORBIT NOW.

I guess if you consider ONLY the child rapin' to be "the scandal" not the cover up by the administration to protect the football team initiated after a conversation with Jpa, or the pushing to prevent reporting student athletes to the cops then that ad would be right....

Well, it's not a Penn State scandal, it's more of an "every individual associated with Penn State" scandal.

I have a lot of sympathy for the rational Penn State alumni who can see through this BS (there are a few out there), but the more I see, the more on board with Nuke 'em from orbit. Give the alumni an opportunity to correct the issues, clean house, etc... And if they choose bozos like this guy, I hope the kids get the entire piggybank and the program is given the death penalty.
