Seriously, this happened. Jerry Sandusky started a charity for kids, then had sex with them. Penn State's athletic department knew about it and not only didn't stop it, but their athletic director lied under oath about it.

This is as bad as it gets, and everyone involved needs to go. Sickening.

Worst part is that this started 15 years ago with the main story happening approximately 9 years ago. How do these sick minded people live with themselves knowing this is going on.

I think you forgot to mention that this wasn't going on at his house, it was happening in the Penn State football showers. JoePa should pull an Uncle Leo and just act like he's old and confused, not like it would be much of a stretch

they will try to put fault on Joe Paterno although he is virtually untouchable, no pun intended

Well, it's obviously a complete and utter disgrace. I hope those involved see the inside of a cell for a period and are socially outcast for the rest of their days. However, I can't see how PSU Athletics can be affected by any of this aside from the inevitable significant Administrative turmoil.

Paterno seems to be in the clear. From what I've read, I guess one could argue that he should have followed up on his report - but he doesn't seem to have done anything illegal.
