ESPN just said Matt Millen is a Board member of Sanduskys charity. That explains his earlier stupid comments. That and he is just stupid.

According to Jim Rome this decision was made after they asked the media to restrict their questions to "the big Senior Day game this Saturday."

A big reason the 1998 stuff didn't come out is that psu had a bball coach resign in the mid 90s for sexual harassment of some cheerleaders. he quit without saying much, psu avoided scandal, and if the sandusky stuff had blown up, that earlier incident would come to light.

Assuming the Jones interview reflects the reality of the situation, and with the caveat that I don't know how the legal liabilities work in a situation like this- it sure seem like there's some degree of gross negligence on his part. How that works out criminally I have no idea. Morally he's a giant piece of ****.

Ok. I missed your last couple where you seem to concede some stuff about the Kim Brown interview. You should listen to it and then let us know what you think. Basically from her characterization, which I think we have to assume is correct, there is zero chance JoePa didn't know about the 1998 incident.

Just assuming that is true, do you now think he could just be legitimately confused, or that he was almost certainly ignoring ongoing abuse of children for the sale of his own self-interests?

- Penn State should fold their football program. As a program they were implicit in allowing this old man to basically conduct a sick child sex ring by allowing him to use their facilities, reputation and confidences to do so.

I was looking forward to watching "The Joe Paterno Story" starring Joe Pesci as JoePa but I'm guessing that movie ain't getting made.
